In this video I will be answering questions that have been kindly sent in by viewers on both Instagram and Facebook, and there is a great variety of subjects covered which really got me thinking!

The hot chocolate in cafe fantasia (or a glowtini) with the pianist playing is one of my favorite things to do. I also like sitting near its a small world and you sometimes see characters on their way to meet people.

Regarding whether there is a difference between the US and European Cast Members, I think that some difference is inevitable. I think it’s a cultural thing. The US is known for being great at hospitality and some might say that they come across as warmer and more hospitable than Cast Members in other parks in other parts of the world. This doesn’t mean that Cast Members in Paris, Hong Kong or Shanghai are less friendly, it’s just that they come from a culture where interacting with people is a little different. There’s a really interesting series on Disney+ called The Imagineering Story where they look into the magic behind the Magic and it’s interesting that they did not want to make all of the worldwide parks just carbon copies of the US ones. They wanted to harness the unique culture and behaviour of each region and I think this is why people may notice a difference in Cast Member interaction between the parks. Wherever the park however, the Cast Members are still sprinkled in the pixie dust that makes the Disney experience so unique and which helps to set the Disney experience apart from other theme parks and attractions.

I think you’re right about the app - it looks like the current situation is making the US parks scaling back on the MagicBand idea as they try and remove as many touch points as possible (the park entry process in particular). It looks like the key (forgive the pun) functionality of the MagicBand such as hotel room entry etc is moving to the app. It makes sense - if you could book counter service food and other things from your phone like they seem to be introducing now, it would keep everything in one place.

What a timing. Today we were supposed to go on our first Disneyland Paris trip ever. Now we are going next year, which is very far away, but it will be worth the wait. Videos like this brighten my day.

Wow - fantastic info, thank you so much. Love your enthusiasm and love for DLP which really comes through and your knowledge is really really helpful. Haven’t been to DLP for too long and your tips will be really helpful in planning my next trip. Keep drinking that caffeine and sprinkling that pixie dust!

Last time I went last year I took a different pair of ears for each character meet they were dangling off my bag a ear holder was a godsend x

I did an escape room in Krakow. It was really fun. My idea for a Disney related escape room would be a haunted mansion/Phantom manor theme with special effects that are triggered when you do certain things. Also i like the twilight zone but i think they should have the same tower of terror story but get rid of all mentions of the twilight zone. Also i would like to have a mulan themed Chinese buffet and a funko pop shop in the village

Oh wow I love the idea of the Phantom Manor escape room - that would definitely tempt me to have a go! 🙌🏼 You just know that the Imagineering on the special effects would be awesome as well! I really want to try all the new storylines on ToT - we got the same one twice last time but it was still great fun! 😃 Have you experienced the new storylines yet?

I do indeed watch SeeYouInMainStreet and was lucky enough to bump into them in the parks last summer - they are so nice! 😃 Haven’t watched Themeparkworldwide yet as I’m mainly into Disney ✨🏰✨

Hi! I'm currently planning my DLP honeymoon for next year, and neither me nor my partner have ever been to a disney park! Do you have any tips for any particularly honeymoon-ish things we can do in the parks, anything that's a bit romantic! We're not particularly big on character meets, but any sights/attractions/restaurants? Your videos have been such a massive help with planning so far! Thanks :D

Hi Laura, Ah how lovely! ✨ There are some lovely restaurants to choose from which aren’t characters based - the first that springs to mind is Walt’s on Main Street 😍 The food is delicious, the decor is opulent and literally feels like you are stepping back in time (for a Disney restaurant it’s quite cosy too - doesn’t feel too big). Also I haven’t eaten there yet but the California Grill looks amazing, the food looks divine and it’s in the Disneyland hotel with Castle views. With regards to experiences if you like heights you could book tickets to go up in the PanoraMagique balloon in the Disney Village for a lovely view of the parks? Also I know you can get ornaments etc inscribed with your names and date at Harrington’s on Main Street which might be nice? There is also an amazing experience at The California Grill you can book for approx €200 per person which includes a multi course meal, drinks and cocktails in the Castle Club lounge to watch the fireworks! ✨🏰✨ Hope these ideas are helpful - don’t forget to get badges/sashes custom Disney ears to let everyone know you’re celebrating! Hi Zoe. I’m booked to go for my birthday in Nov. Had to cancel Xmas visit with the boys who have autism as they wouldn’t be able to keep masks on and there are no exceptions made for disabilities. Also had to cancel Florida for next yr. NO idea when or if we will want to go back. I found out that you can actually book your dining for DLP (60 days in advance like you say) in the Disney app. It’s a little tricky though. You need to go into your phone settings and change it to French and then go to the app and providing you know your way about the park, you know where you want to eat and you know a little French... the rest it easy 😅 🏰🧚♂️ 💫 x

An Alice In Wonderland escape room would be sick!!!! I imagine the cheshire cat reading a bunch of riddles! Would be awesome! I don't know whether this would work in an escape room or maybe just an attraction of sorts but I want more Treasure Planet and Atlantis in the parks. They're two of my favorites movies and the stories are just amazing! Also for a ride idea in the parks..........How long are we going to wait for the Ysma and Kronk ride?! Starting with Ysma yelling ''Pull the lever kronk'' The rollercoaster ride drops and you can hear in the distance ''WRONG LEVER!'' When this happens, my life will be complete! Going to DLP in the end of September! Can't tell you how incredibly relieved we are to be allowed to go! Next week I'm paying everything and booking restaurants then all we have to do is pass the time with buying a bunch of merch!

do you need to show your ticket or anything like that if you take a shuttle bus from a partner hotel to the parks and vice versa?

Hi Allan 😃 Yes I think I’ll give it a week or so to settle down after the official reopening and then talk through everything that’s open and perhaps some ideas on staying safe while in the parks. Are you planning a trip soon? ✨🏰✨

Do you know if annual passes can be purchased online before making reservations for days at the park during this time?

Hi! Do you have any info on how the photo pass will work for meeting characters in this special situation. I've seen a lot of people taking selfies with characters but are the cast member still going to be around to take pictures for you photo pass if the characters are allowed to be around? Totally understand if you don't know, it's a special situation right now!

Hi Rebecca 😃 From what I can gather there are Photopass+ photographers at specific points in the parks to take Magic Shots (photos featuring Tinkerbell etc) and nice photos in front of if the castle, but not with characters at this time. Hope that helps! ✨
