Thank you for helping me to see a a part of history that most dont. Thank you for your dedication and a heart to teach and help to see a broader perspective. Excellent presentation. Mr Kolakowski mentioned that they used the lighrts in a figure eight pattern to correct their altitude while a slide used in the presentation shows the lights converging. I always read about the lights converging idea. Also, in the movie, they use a pair of crossed sticks IIRC to gauge distance. Was this historically correct?
