Took a cinema class in college and had to watch all of these films featured in the video. A lot of people say its weird and stuff, but honestly the weirdness of the films is what makes them so interesting. I's so glad that Cage decided to these works the video to Mess Around.

I think that the chorus sounds like the Black Keys (along with the guitar solo) but the rest of the song sounds like what I want from Cage the Elephant. I love how all of their albums have had very diverse styles. I can't wait!

even though this album was produced by dan auerbach, this is still cage the elephant.... anyone who knows cages history knows that they experiment in music. all because they have a different sound doesnt mean they sound just like the black keys. im so excited for their new album.

Yes of course it is. At the very beginning of this video it says this video is by Georges Méliès. Georges Méliès is the genius who created "A Trip to the Moon." The team behind the Cage The Elephant music video wanted to do a parody of Georges Méliès's film and out of respect they put his name at the beginning of the video.
