Yep I grew up on lake murray 60’s-70’s in Hallmark Shores. Very few homes and lot next door had creek go up. We got our terra tiger stuck in mud there. Ran home to get wench and came back and found gator living in there. My dad, brother and I looked at each other and said, don’t tell mom. She’ll make us move! It’d make a noise at night, she’d ask dad what’s that noise? He convinced her it was farmers cow about 1 mile away. Lol.

I’ve been spending time on this lake my entire life and have lived on it for the past 25 years….I’ve never seen a Gator or any indication of one…nor have any of my numerous friends who live all over the lake…. Having said that a small swampy type shallow cove could easily be a home to a Gator..

So SC DNR is not going to do anything unless it becomes aggressive. So, it has to kill an adult or child first. Don't agree with the approach.
