We head west into Laura to start old coach road leading into Maytown.
Maytown is now a ghost town essentially, but was a flourishing gold mining town back in the late 1800s.
Probably one of the more challenging tracks I have undertaken on a motorbike. At the time it seemed never ending. Lots of sand, rocky climbs, decents and water crossings. Exactly what I was hoping for.
A few near misses and stacks throughout. We make it back to camp quite late at night for a well deserved beverage!

Great vid and well done. We managed (just) to complete this on GS’s in September. Nearly killed us !

Hey, bud loving the content it's reviving my memories of our awesome trip. Keep it coming! , I'm glad you did not try the CREB, from my experience that water would have been overhead on the crossing, wild to see it that high. You will enjoy the sand more as the ride goes on, I hope you do my favorite, the Starky track

Hey mate! Thanks for the kind words! Glad you’re enjoying them. Will hopefully get through the other couple of days in the next few weeks. Just lacking time. Yeah it was pretty full on looking haha. Never got to do that track unfortunately. I agree regarding the sand. By the end of it on the Tele track I was loving it!
