I think it was actually 60 🤯 71.4% of the offence is just nuts!! If you’re just watching the basketball, there is no race. I guess you could have argued that through the first month when the fever were on that crazy schedule. If you look at THOSE numbers I would see why Reese is in it. But if you’ve been watching the entire time, now that her teammates understand her passes, her transition speed, Clark is putting up double doubles (this was her fourth consecutive) in the much harder category of points and assists (the record for that is 6). She’s basically setting a new record every game, this one with the insane stat line, and the fastest guard to 20 blocks, which is also I think 12 more than Angel who, you would think has more. So it’s crazy to put these two in the same league. One is having a terrific rookie year. The other is just being her team's best player night in and night out, and thus is more in an MVP race than rookie race. Not THE MVP, but maybe finish like 6th? I could see that if she continues the way she has been the last month.

More than half of her turnovers are because of being on a new team and CC and her teammates aren't always on the same page yet. Her court vision and presence is unmatched. She is the point gaurd. She plays fast and her passing is spot on. Timing will come.

Not draft, trade for a veteran, doesn't make sense to try to develop someone when all you need is a reliable old hand. And not to play next to Clark, but to spell her for about 5 - 7 minutes a game. Efficiency decreases with high usage and offensive load, Fever offence falls apart when Clark isn't on the floor and that's a problem, a veteran PG would help stop the bleeding.

Maybe it’s because Kelsey Mitchell was 0/8 from three or the fact Boston didn’t play the majority of the game because of foul or the fact the best perimeter defender on the team didn’t play till the fourth quarter. Mitchell wasn't the only Fever player to mess up. Clark, Hull, and later on Boston, were the only Fever players not missing wide open layups or messing up. The rest of the team really didn't play decent this game. But yeah, definitely a missed opportunity when Mitchell is dribbling and there's a teammate wide open under the basket or at the 3 point line. i think the commentator even said Mitchell should be on the weak side of the ball so she's a go-to when a play breaks down as opposed to her being on the strong side with the first touch in a possession. Cause once she touches the ball she goes right into dribble dribble iso mode.
