They talk constantly about raising the visibility and notoriety of the women's game and this was a golden global opportunity to do that. CC didn't have to play major minutes for that to occur. Women's basketball in Paris will now go back to anonymity, as always....

Jealousy is not just a woman thing, maybe they have a harder time hiding it than men do but this is a natural part of being competitive. CC's team mates need to help her a lil more. Even if they need to draft in a Draymond Green enforcer type. Overall, CC may bring more fans but hostility and rivalry will keep those fans so everyone especially CC need to adpat to the additional attention and unfortunately, hate that is going to come their way on and off the court. I wish them (WNBA players) all well and hope they get more money and the respect their talent and application deserve.

When the Dream Team with Jordan and Bird and Magic went over to Europe for the Olympics that ignited a huge influx of basketball throughout Europe that shows in the NBA today. If the WNBA is so concerned about it getting interest in their sport, then why would they not have Caitlin Clark on that team. She's the one that's going to spark interest. What the problem is the WNBA is a racist league and they don't care about expanding their interest because their racism just overwhelms the right decision.

IMHO, it’s more than jealousy, it’s FEAR! Fear of being obsolete. CC is making below the rim bball more exciting than the shoving/ holding/ melee in the paint. The 2.0 fan base is hungry for excitement and that’s skill and athleticism. If CC were just a shooter, that would be easier to emulate. But , her passing li just if even not more amazing than her logo 3’s. The WNBA HAS SHOWN THEY don’t know what to do with Clark. Prior to CC fans did not have an option. Now that they do- WNBA is terrified. Fans have overwhelmingly chosen CC BALL over the status quo ( see attendance and tv ratings). WNBA whines that CC must pay her dues. BS! If fans want physicality between women they’ll tune into MMA or WWE! WNBA has never had to be accountable to fans for their product. Now they do and they’re scared to death.
