People forget 2 things: 1. The Fever are a new team and have barely had practice time to find their rhythms/style 2. CC never asked for any of this. All she did was play basketball and this all just happened around her. She doesn’t owe anyone anything.

Clark don't hit shots. She needs 40 attempts a game to get 8 points. Clark turns the ball over way too much. Clark needs to hit the gym and bulk up. Clark needs to play defense and move off the ball. There, I directed your anger at the right person.

Boston is out 9:22 of shape. Wheeler should be waived or benched. Coach is not that good. Schedule has been exhausting. As a result Fever ran out of gas in the Aces game. I and at least six of my friends are watching wnba for the first time due to Caitlin’s play making. .

I think the issue for some people is exactly what you raise -- blaming everyone, players and coach, for any deficiency in Clark's game. It is ludicrous. She's a rookie. Let her be a rookie. Let her grow. I'm sure she'll be a great player in the WNBA. We don't have to pretend the reason she isn't the "greatest" player out of the gate is everyone but her.

I've been watching some wnba games this year. And Caitlin is getting doubled and triple teamed. I think that is a sign of a respect. But I just heard one coaches hating remarks towards Caitlin. She didn't want to give credit to Caitlin or her fans for the sold out games. Even though for the upcoming game vs the Fever hey more than doubling the ticket sales

I would argue the height of misogyny is not allowing for any criticism of the the coaching or that her teammates like Boston looks outta shape as a professional athlete, but that's just me. No one is saying all of that (except a few headline pandering contrarians). What people ARE saying is that Clark is being mugged on the court. Pros (Lobo, Bird) are saying that Clark is facing more rabid game 7 defense than anyone else has. Her second game there were 13 uncalled fouls committed against her. She gets arm and shoulder ripped, hockey body checked, and the refs are silent. At the same time they are whistling Clark's every look. Game 2 started with two phantom touch fouls. People don't want her to be ''infantalized'', they want her to have a fair shot at playing her game without it looking like a playground assault. (Fans are also complaining about her team mates missing the fundamentals that would make the team shine - being in good condition, running transition, catching on the run, and finishing at the rim).
