I’m a college student at NC State, I’ll say the same thing I said when I heard the news that Paige got hurt. It hits harder when this is happening to people my age. Hopefully it’s not serious and she recovers quickly

You dont even know that team. All everyone hears about is caitlin. it takes 5 girls on the court to win. Not just one. Yes, she contributes a lot but players like monica, who scores more than caitlin, mckenna, gabbi, and kate all contribute. Theyre not just top 4 in the country because of caitlin. This comes from someone whos been watching since 2019

night88shade First, her teammates are focused on getting that last basket to win the game, then the refs order everyone to go to their benches. If they don't do so, they can be hit with a technical foul. Trust me when I say they care about her. Unfortunately the refs looked at the play under the basket and determined no foul, and by that time, 2 trainers were out scooping Caitlin off the floor and to the locker room. I'm sure that they all were surrounding her once they got to see her.

@@crazykiwi5020 Many of Monica's points come on assists from Caitlin. Take a look at her stats, Caitlin usually scores the most, but when she sees someone down in the paint, typically Monica and McKenna, she will fire a pass or a bounce pass to them so all they might have to do is pivot and put it against the glass for the 2. If they are blocked, she can usually count on Gabbie to be in the corner for a 3, but if none of that works, they set it up again and create points. If Caitlin was the only one scoring, she wouldn't have as many assists as she has.

@@frankiek2269 Look at the replay, the play is over, they see her on the ground and no one rushes over to see if she’s alright. They go straight to the bench. Justify them as much as you want though. I hope they’ll learn what the word teammate means.

Honestly this game was a lot of fun to watch but lets be real Iowa is not on the same level as the top 10 teams. Texas and Iowa aren't really showing top ten material right now and thats ok because there is still room to improve, but they would get lapped by teams like Stanford, Uconn and SC
