If you haven't seen Outlander yet, see it. One of the best shows ever. Season 6 is out on Sunday March 6. They're working on season 7. There will be roughly 10 seasons.

This! And Both Caitriona and Sam have an ABSURD chemistry on set that it blew my mind when I found out they weren't even dating. You wouldn't guess this since they have such a good chemistry on Outlander. The way they laugh, touch each other, interact with one another one would think we're watching a live feed of their own lives

Ive been watching it non stop since it first came out years ago. Always have it on a loop. I honestly dont understand how Sam doesnt have all the awards. Truly a gem . All the cast is great but Sam is a king!

I read Outlander years ago. The entire book series is amazing! It literally has everything a history person could want. The show is so close to the books!!! It’s the best book turned into a series I’ve ever seen!!!Whoever cast the actors deserves an award!!!

God I love Cait!!! I've been a fan of Outlander since early 2021 (And I'm so pumped for this Sunday!!) but it's only after Belfast that I started paying attention to her and she's honestly so gracious and lovely! She's just full of kindness and also has a wonderful sense of humour. She deserves all the accolade she's getting, any OL fan will tell you she's a brilliant actress ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Belfast is a great movie. Caitriona is a wonderful actress. She has also done a fabulous job on Outlander and has a great following from that show. Her fans are very passionate and very protective of any negative comments made about her on Twitter. Great humanitarian as well.

Why is it OK for him to make fun of how she spells her name? It's an Irish name, it's spelt the Irish way, why does he have to comment on it! 😂 People always have a go at how Irish people spell our names when of course it doesn't make sense in English, its a different language and different alphabet! Also 'paddy' comes from 'padraig', which is a common name in Ireland. Patrick is the English version of this and less common, so doesn't have a shortened version. Just in case anyone cares! Jimmy is certainly in no danger of being invited to submit a MENSA application. His general knowledge of what happens within the borders of America is slack at best. Like most Americans, a lack of basic understanding about the world outside these borders causes them to resort to stereotypes and stereotyping. Strange but true. Then again this is hardly surprising given the substandard and introverted nature of the education system, especially at high school level, that the majority of America youth are forced to suffer through.

As someone who's name is also Catriona, I just love hearing the name properly pronounced. Damn Irish love their vowels (she has two is, and I have an extra o - I'm Irish so i can say that) but outlander is amazing

I’m Irish (from Wicklow) and we do eat corned beef here (silverside from the butcher not tinned stuff, but not necessarily on Paddy’s day). It depends on which part of the country you’re from but corned beef is a thing lol. It’s lovely with parsley sauce too, nom. I wish he’d let her explain about Paddy’s day too. In that St Patrick’s name is actually Pádraig in Irish (as Gaeilge) hence Paddy. Patty is the shortened name for Patricia not Patrick. And it drives Irish people mad when we hear our American cousins refer to it as Patty’s Day! Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk 😂

What you in the US call corned beef and what we on this side of the Atlantic call corned beef are two completely different things. Ours are tinned and highly processed and probably not even the same recipe or even cuts of meat

There's tinned corned beef in the US and it is generally served as part of a breakfast hash with potatoes, but the original corned beef is what Jimmy described and it was developed as a way to preserve meat in the days before refrigeration. It is basically brined and cured beef

Corned beef was introduced to Irish immigrants by the Jewish immigrant community in NYC in the early 1900s. A totally US invention for St Patrick’s (sic Padriagh) Day!

The corned beef and cabbage relation to the Irish IS from early immigrants (my great grandparents both from near Tralee, Ir., came over in the late 1800's), because both cabbage and corned beef were cheap foods. The beef brisket is a tough cut so it's not highly desirable. Of course, right now the US meat producers jack the price up for St. Paddy's Day. And yes, it is "Paddy," it's where the name "Paddywagon" came from.
