She has established herself as an acting force. I can't think of anyone in her league. Being in a long running series , is much more challenging than a movie. And, she never disappoints.

It's hard not to immerse yourself in each and everyone of the characters particularly Caitriona. This series offers something for everyone. My wife asked me to watch this with her and we have never looked back. We binge watched all 5 seasons over a few weekends, looking forward to season 6. My wife describes Outlander as the best love story ever!

Outlander has reached the point where the books don’t translate to the tv show but the wonderful actors, Balfe, Heughan, Bell, Barry, are so good that they are worth just watching no matter what the story is about.

I think many of us would love to believe that somehow things will work out for Caitriona and Sam as they seem so perfect together, both on and off the screen. This just shows though what great actors and what great friends they are.

She & Sam are not a real couple. She’s married with a son. What they do is acting-and they both do a very good job of it. They just have very good onscreen chemistry. Anything else is fantasy!

Yes it is time travel fantasy. Do not forget it. It is a nice story, I have seen it 3x with skipping a number of episodes, do not ask me why, it is my choice and no ones business but my own so stop any nasty messages because if you want shit i have a car load full, just read and shut up. Both actors deserve the pay they are getting. Both are wonderful and have a difficult job. Acting is glamorous but very demanding. You earn your pay. The chemistry between them is amazing. every woman would love to have that kind of passion from her man. I'm sure her and her husband have the same passion or they wouldn't be together. Congrats on your baby boy. Looking forward to season 7 of Outlander. Kudos to Diana as well for writing just a wonderful story.

Her performances ( in my view) make the series, Outlander. Excellent casting ! She also is an outspoken advocate for causes she believes in. I look forward to her continually soaring career which Belfast provides a preview of!

With a lot of money I would fix our house and yard and then help people I know do the same or help with other things they need. I love when stars help or create organizations but there are so many individuals I already know who can use some extra money to live better. I also would create a system to help homelessness in the states and possibly elsewhere.

The picture of the baby has to be false! Caitríona Balfe has explicitly said she doesn't want to have her son in the public eye. We've been privy to a hand in the birth announcement. She said she wants to shield him from "the crazies" and the negatives she and Sam experience.

No disagreement. And everybody has their opinion. As much as we fans love and appreciate Sam, some of us have a special affinity for Caitriona. I find her to be a uniquely gifted and talented woman. I cannot overstate her brilliance, not only as an actress, but as an absolutely consummate human being.

Oh yes one mustn't forget that they used her legs in The Devil Wears Prada. I did watch Belfast I think she might have had two or three lines in that movie. I do like her in Outlander up until the end-of-season 5.

For a newbie actress, she's does really well playing Claire...Sam and catriona play their roles convincingly well...you feel the connection between them...Diana Gabaldon wrote a great love story in a unique way which will go down in history.
