Back in the day (as they say) my high school chum and I used to drive down to his parent's camp on Grand Isle for a weekend of fishing. We'd time leaving BR so as to hit Dufrene's Bakery in Golden Meadow just as those round loaves of bread were coming out the oven. We'd each buy one along with a stick of butter, and then rub that butter all over the top. Man, dat wuz good, ya!

Fried chicken for SUPPER? LOL, Many years ago, the Walker, LA police bought a new radio system to scramble / encode their radio traffic so no one (except me) could unscramble their radio traffic. One day, they went to the scramble mode to encrypt their traffic. Why? Someone was ordering food and they didn't want anyone to hear it

They're not just a speed trap. They are CORRUPT ! I drove below the speed limit and was held up by an armed crook. I SPIT every time i say Golden Meadows ...
