Ingredients:
For Dal:
1/2 cup toor dal
1 and 1/2 cup water
pinch of turmeric
salt as per taste
1 tsp ghee
For Tadka:
2 tbsn oil
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1 green chilli
few curry leaves
pinch of asafoetida
fresh coriander leaves
1 tomato
pinch of turmeric powder
ginger garlic paste
1 tsp red cilli powder
salt as per taste
2 tsp lemon juice
small jaggery piece
garam masala(optional)
cooked toor dal
2 cup water
For Chakolya Dough:
1 cup wheat flour
2 spoon besan
salt as per taste
pinch of turmeric
1/2 tsp carrom and cumin seeds
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp ghee
1/2 cup water approx.
For serving:
Ghee, lemon or pickle.
