I have heard this song so many times, but in recent weeks, for whatever reason, I have become totally obsessed with it. I guess my eyes have suddenly become opened to its sheer brilliance, and how much of a timeless classic it truly is.

Obsessing is what this tune seems to sing about. It was ok to obsess if you survived it; you can forgive yourself. If you did not survive it, neither did whom you were obsessing over...wrap your little head around those apples...

This is the track that introduced me to Cake. It's a brilliant re-working of the classic R&B/Disco hit. It unpacks it to the primal core and really rocks to make it wholly different song. Brilliant, but I digress.

I used to find your full performance at Shoreline amphitheatre which i think is just crazy. Would have been there. but now i just can find this cover. Would like to see in France but when....?
