Good morning! so you use a paper background for every cake smash. Do you cut and toss the dirty layer every shoot or use a cover for the cake mess?

We don't always use a paper background for every shoot. Sometimes we will use a vinyl backdrop as our floor. And in that case we can usually just mop the vinyl clean. But when we do use paper as our backdrop we do usually end up cutting away the mess and throwing the paper away. Thanks for the great question and feel free to hit me up if you have anymore! Daniel

Most companies that make backdrops will sell vinyl backdrops. Or simply search vinyl photography backdrops on Amazon and you should come up with a nice selection.

Nope you're not going crazy! The o is the letter that sells out the quickest. Just keep checking in I'm sure in a couple of days they'll have one available. :-)

Hi, what is the light on the back for please . TIA

That light is there to light the back of you subject in order to help separate your subject from the background. It helps make your images look more three dimensional. It's hard to see the effect of this light on a bright set, but when it's not there it is noticable. If this were a dark set my subject's dark hair would blend in with the dark background without a light coming from the back. Hope that helps...if not feel free to hit me up again.
