Hi and welcome back to my kitchen. Are you ever looking to add some shimmer or sparkle onto your cakes. In this weeks video tutorial I'm going to show you three different effects to make your cakes really shine.
From adding lustre dust, making your cakes look like they are covered in beautiful sparkly sequins and finally how to add edible glitter.

Do you have a tutorial for a glittered drip? I am making my brother wedding cake and the bride wants a cake that has the a top tier that is fully glittered and the bottom tier has a drip that is glittered.

The lustre one is beautiful but you obviously have to have a flawless finish on your fondant first as it highlights every imperfection. The glitter one on the other hand would do the opposite and hide a few flaws so that one gets my vote !

Loved this tutorial. I love anything sparkly and rose gold is my favourite metallic at the moment. I especially loved the look of the glitter one, but am more game to try the confetti one too. You made it look a bit easier. Thank you :)

I loved how you showed three different types of glitter I just thought it was the one in the middle we did the confetti and then paint it over it I didn't know you could do it the other two ways thank you for the information thank you for sharing and as always keep on caking
