Little Blue is certainly precocious. Love how he didn't even let mom retrieve the prey. Surprising that the youngest grabs prey from a parent and self-feeds--and that the other two don't try to take it from him. Look forward to what's next from the little bird. (Interesting that the fourth chick completely missed this. You'd think s/he would have been attracted by all the noise!) Thank you for another delightful video!

I saw this live, I was LMAO. He’s definitely the most independent and smartest out of the 4. He was the first one using his talons to get a hold of the meal despite being the youngest. What a stud!

He's very quick and determined. I think he took it off Annie 2 or 3 times. She certainly couldn't get it back 😂😂 so funny

Last year the smallest was the first to use the strategy of stealing food out of sibs' mouths to get food. This little one was also the first to do that this year. He's also managed to snag a bit of food right off the prey under Annie's feet a few times.

Good work, Blue! Annie's dogged determination to always get the food back is impressive; glad she let him finish it off. (It was a tiny morsel, to be fair!)

Good job, Wee Boy Blue! Good life skill practice! It seems these floors changed overnight! Yesterday Wee #4 looked different from his 3 siblings because he had more white floofiness. Such a cute face when he head tilted at the camera!
