The performance gives the audience a representative sensation of the oxymoronic nature of drugs, which words could not substitute. The words literally wouldn't be as impactful without the elements of the song constantly showing how the seemingly contradicting lyrics are thematically congruent to the rest of the performance. In other words, if I'm telling you chaos is aesthetically pleasing and my delivery of this message is chaotic and aesthetically pleasing, I'm validating my words by proving them true in my performance. This, I believe, is what tickles my brain when I listen to this song. It communicates an incomprehensible truth unlike any other expression.
