I tried not to use too much perlite as it retains a lot of moisture but use 30% charcoal, 10% perlite, 10%orchid bark, 10% vermiculite, %10 dried leaves, 10% rice hull or dried leaves, 20% african violet soil

Thanks.. Really appreciate it.. Now i k ow why i was loosing my calathea.. My soil mix wasn't anyway near like this one..

Thank you so much for the comment. The reason you lost your Calatheas is never certain.. Maybe you breathed too close to them or didn’t like your t-shit 😂😂

@@fyllo6631 lol 😂 no I'm pretty sure.. I was using wrong soul mix.. There wasn't enough space for roots to breath.. But thanks.. You helped a lot to understand how to make well aerated soil..
