@@minilacu I switched out of Aerospace Engineering to study Human Factors. I am still in school, and while at times it sucks that I didn't finish Engineering, I guess its for the better because I don't think I was really cut out for it.

Yep, thought so too. I hate when they don't show all the work. They just wanna look smarter I guess by knowing something you don't know.

The quadratic formula is given by: ax^2 + bx + c = 0. When finding the time, he subtracted deltaH from both sides to turn it into standard form so it can be easily plugged into the quadratic formula. The 1/2g is a, the Vi is b and the deltaH is c.

What if the angle of the projection is only hiven. How to get the Time of flight, the Maximum Height and its range?

I will post another video about that. What it comes down to is determining the vertical and horizontal components of the velocity vector of the projectile. The vertical will determine the time of flight; the horizontal is constant and will determine the range of the projectile.
