In spring of 2023, The Handmade Music School at The Floyd Country Store & Southwest Virginia luthier Jackson Cunningham are offering a chance to win one of Jackson’s beautiful custom-made guitars to benefit programming at The Handmade Music School.
The guitar was handmade in Jackson Cunningham’s workshop in Grayson County, Virginia. It is a faithful recreation inspired by the classic steel string models from the early 1930s. This is a versatile guitar masterfully built with a responsive tone. It is very adaptable to playing many styles of music from flat-picking old-time and bluegrass to fingerpicking blues and is a wonderful guitar for backing up an instrumentalist or accompanying vocals.
Here is Caleb Klauder and Reeb Willms playing Caleb's original tune 'He's Gone Where He's Never Been Before' with Caleb playing this year's Cunningham Handmade Raffle Guitar.

Caleb's multiple instrument skills are an amazement. This piece shows the nice sound of the Cunningham guitar. I wonder what woods were used. The finish obscures telling, for me anyway. It looks like it "may" be an attempt at reproducing a vintage Martin D-28. If so, the backs and sides are Rosewood. I cannot tell what type of spruce was used for the top.

That was some great guitar pickin' Caleb. I kinda expected it would be! Looks like you gave your old Martin guitar a day off, or perhaps let it retire. Thanks for your great music. I've got a couple of your CD's in my car that I alternate with a Merle Haggard set of his biggest hits. In my opinion, I like your music a little more than Merle's!

The song is not true. Christ came from heaven and became a man, was murdered and Jehovah raised him from the dead and he went back to heaven to sit at his father’s right hand. TRUTH love listening to these two sing and play, the words are all wrong.
