WOOHOO!! :D The long requested, and highly anticipated cover of "Lullaby for a Princess" is HERE!! Not only that, but I have the blessing from the man himself, Ponyphonic, to put my own spin on it! I had been trying to get in contact with him for months now to acquire the remastered instrumental for my cover. Funny enough, I somehow got into contact with his Dad (who happened to know my covers) and he let his son know that I wanted to cover it. As soon as I got the instrumental, I knew it HAD to be in #NerdMonth2016.
This one gave me a run for my money xD It has twists and turns both musically and emotionally, and the range required for this one equals some of the hardest songs I've ever sung and THEN some. Seriously, this one was a killer *is shot*. Either way, I hope you enjoy my rendition and give some love to Ponyphonic for his unbelievable composition and check out his latest "The Moon Rises"!

Sometimes I forget how beautiful this song is, and that it was my initial introduction to the brony fandom, but relistening to this cover reminds me that everyone comes from simple beginnings. Me, Caleb, Ponyphonic, and so many others come from a place of wonder, innocence, and yes, regret and pain too. And this cover perfectly displays all four emotions perfectly.

I would have to say I completely agree, I preoccupy my life with video games and anime. However I regret so much and wish to redo so much more. This song makes me think of things I could have done differently. It also reminds me of times when I was younger and I was like Luna, outcasted, lonely, and uncared for except by my parents. This song takes me back to that time and makes me wish I could have had an easier being social. Heh....look at me, telling a random stranger who wrote a comment from 3 years ago my depressing past. Just wanted to say this is a cool comment. Also quick question. Your pic is a girl yet you say you “first introduction into the brony fandom.”

And yes, it was my first introduction to the brony Fandom. I started way back in 2013, I was 14 and now I'm 21, I have been told many times I have a younger face but it's true. I stopped being in the Fandom around 2017 though.

In their first battle where Luna transformed, Celestial was reluctant to fight and because the Elements of Harmony didn’t exist, had no protection. Nightmare Moon won that first battle and was never banished to the moon. Celestial would be stuck in the moon for a thousand years after, and since the princess are immortal, would be defeated again

Why wouldn't the elements of harmony work 1000 years before any of the mane six are even born? Same thing with the sombra reality, it's not that they never banished him, simply, he returned, there wasn't anyone to stop him and so he retook control of the empire and declared war

Change up the pronouns and the "pony" part and it suddenly becomes a story about like... A prince stealing the glory away from his brothers reign, and when his brother tries to retaliate, they duel each other, and the older prince ends up killing the younger one. Yes, but don't start off at Season 1 like people may tell you. As seasons progressed it got more and more dark, and Season 1 was very girly compared to the other seasons.

I disagree season one is on of my favorite, but I do agree I got a bit darker compared to season one.

Yes, but know that some episodes are better than others. I would start with the season 2 premiere, as it established some of the show's concepts.

Reverend Glitch I don't concider my self that big of a brony but this is like the view of the older princess (celestia) what she felt after vanquising her sister (luna) to the moon. She came back in the 1st episode. It's not that bad of a cartoon and has a better plot than most cartoons.
