Күн бұрынI'm unboxing my Louis Vuitton Suhali L'Ingénieux GM. This is one of my top Holy Grail bags from Louis Vuitton, and I'm excited to share this unboxing with all of you! The Suhali collection was Louis Vuitton's pinnacle collection before was discontinued far too soon. The Louis Vuitton Suhali collection feature gorgeous goatskin leather and a myriad of brass details paying homage to Louis Vuitton's illustrious history of travel accessories.
If you're into channels that include luxury fashion, shopping, luxury unboxings and reveals, luxury travel, and daily vlogs- basically anything that has to do with life and style, then this is the channel for you! I remember when the Suhali collection came out, they were the Capucine of its time! Now preloved they are affordable. Yours is gorgeous! I cannot believe TRR 🤯 They are the worst at packaging but that is down right awful! I keep buying from TRR only if I can’t find it anywhere else, that’s how they get me. Can’t wait to see you acquire more! Suhali is such a sophisticated collection.

Such a great collection, and I love that they've dropped in price. They're definitely worth the price now! And you're right- I'll only turn to TRR for a decent price or something I can't find elsewhere. They usually disappoint in some way in each transaction lol. There will definitely be more Suhali in my future!

Love the bag ! Don’t have anyone work on the bag unless you never plan to sell it. I had leather surgeons Re- do my channel GST - then most big companies refused it because it wasn’t in original condition. I sold it to a private buyer for an excellent price but big Re- sellers wouldn’t take it. Get a bag organizer to give structure:-)

I absolutely love the Suhali line! MJ at his peak at LV! That goatskin is everything. It’s crazy they didn’t keep their value better - but all the better for us now! I picked up a couple on the resale market at a great price.

Oh Caleb that is just beautiful. It is for sure you. The shipping leaves something to be desired. I love the opening and the interior. I never new about the zipper pocket inside the purse. Now you need to get the coin purse.

Look! I just stumbled across your website at the very moment I found this beautiful bag on Fashionphile but didn't have any history on the bag. It just happened to be the Suhali L'Ingenieux PM Blue . I have been looking at pre-loved bags and just did not want to purchase what everyone is wearing. So, earlier this evening I found this beautiful bag and then I searched on youtube for some additional info and found you! I am OVER THE MOON! The bag is just stunning and absolutely speaks to me. Love this! I think this style would look great on you. I remember admiring it in blue-jean-almost-like-color when they first came out. I am all about older LVs as well - I think I can count on one hand the amount of LV bags I got excited about/actually bought in the last 10-12 years. I love that bag. I was thinking about that same bag for awhile but I’ve since moved on to other things. After starting to watch your channel, I purchased my first LV bag, a 2009 Epi Montaigne GM in purple. I bought it from the Real Real and had a good experience. That said it was in good condition, but when I received it it looked almost new, like no one had ever carried it. Since then I’ve bought some Lanvin sneakers and a pair of Prada shoes and things have went well. I do agree that shipping sometimes is a bit sub-standard. All of my purchases have been $600 or less. I’m not sure I would use them though for a larger purchase as a final sale, without first seeing the item in question.

Hi Jeffrey! I love this bag so much- I really want it in more colors still. The Montaigne GM is such a vibe- and I love the shade of purple they used that year. I agree- TRR is good for things that aren't too terribly expensive- but I don't know if I'd order from them for anything that cost too much $$$.

In general I'm not into marc Jacobs, but greatly prefer his era at Vuitton. But I loved NG at Balenciaga. Beautiful bag! The doctor, barrel/bullet bags of that era from Vuitton and Gucci were beautiful

Okay so I just found out about these bags…found the purple one yesterday - searched you tube and found you! New subscriber now for you. Thank you for the information. I have been wanting an Alma bag but can’t pull the trigger as I live in Canada. Well, we wear parkas here - can’t stick your arm in the hand held. Lv never made another line that reached the quality level of the Suhali. The bags are so luxurious and chic. I don’t think they are dated at all. They have less embellishment than the Valentino rockstuds, the jw Anderson bags with huge chains , Bottega cassette, even the Chanel 19 /Gabrielle etc . And your dr bag is a modern take on a 1940s style. I have the le radieux, le fabulaux, and lockit in black taupe and brown and love them all despite the fact that it’s like carrying a 5lb brick. They are hard wearing , keep their shape when stored properly and draw attention across rooms from anyone that knows what a quality bag looks like. Plus no one ever knows what brand it is so you can carry it anywhere , even work, without fear of thieves or judgment. Enjoy it! You picked a great style . I’m dying to see the catalog you have.

I completely agree, the Suhali is peak LV. The materials, styles, construction- all of it is absolutely superb. And you're right, very few people know about Suhali these days, so they're the perfect under-the-radar- bags. And I will totally share the catalog. I'll try and get it out this week!

Oh! I also want to mention that your (and soon to be mine) Suhali bag in the size PM looks similar to the new LV release that is coming out next month! Have you seen it? I do not know the name but it has the same shape as the Suhali pretty much and it also has the doctor bag opening. It comes in all leather but also in the monogram canvas with vachetta trim along the opening and vachetta top handles with a gold chain that drops down the front with a gold S lock! Goregous! Our Suhali bag is coming back in style! I'm going to decorate mine with a chain as well 😄. I wonder if people will start buying the Suhali due to this new release?

Yay love your bag! Goregous! I am getting a black PM size. Do you know if the hardware (S Lock) is true brass or gold plated? Just wondering if I can brasso the hardware. If it's brass yes but gold plated I can not. Mine is from 2005. Are you still enjoying your bag? I think it's so classy! Thanks for mentioning the PM doesn't have a lock or key as I was thinking mine was missing! 😆🤣

Hi Debbie! Thank you so much! And I'm so excited for you- you're going to love this bag! I'm going to say given the era of LV they came from that the lock will just be plated- so I would tread cautiously when polishing. I've found that an art restoration hack really helped shine my lock: just add some saliva to a clean q-tip and this will help shine it up without all the mess from a polish. Gross, I know, but highly effective! I'm absolutely loving this bag still- I'm actually posting a full review of it on Wednesday- so keep your eyes peeled!

That bag is GOREGOUS and I'm so glad I found one in very good condition (I was told by the owner) and for $700 which I think is very good. Wish it was cheaper but $700 I feel is still a good deal as long as the condition is as good as the owner states. Do you have to use a base shaper to keep bag looking structured. Yes please tell us all about your bag! How you preserve it, store it, condition it, etc! I will be watching your post Wed and just realized I didn't subscribe so I will now! Yay! 🥳🥳🥳

You not lying about the Real Real. I bought a pair of Tom Ford sunglasses. I knew the glasses were used..no problem but the sunglasses came dirty with hair plus the glasses were broken because they didnt put the sunglasses werent in a secured package/ box...I returned them back and said never again😏😐

Ugh, Kami, I'm sorry you had to go through that! Buying from TRR can certainly be risky. I think for bigger ticket purchases I'll have them sent to my local boutique so I can see it before purchasing.

Thank you, Beth! I'm excited to finally have this bag in my collection! As for addressing the Balenciaga discussion, I'm still waiting to see if anything further develops, or how Balenciaga handles the situation before adding my voice to conversation. Only time will tell!

I have never seen this bag before. Was it from the men's collection? It is in very good condition given the age. It screams Marc Jacobs though with that buckle. Will a bag organizer solve the structure problem?

I absolutely hate it when someone flattens a bag like that, you have my sympathy, it's so disrespectful... It does look like it wasn't stored well either. I guess the bag would be too heavy for a thick felt bag organiser to keep it in shape. It is gorgeous though and it has a lovely vintage vibe 😎

Literally nothing worse than when a bag is shipped flattened out. It's slowly coming back to life, and once my things are inside, it kind of helps keeps the shape. Overall I'm very happy with it all things considered!
