Does it mean that the "column'' JsonData also becomes something like "table" within the main table? Because the JSON keys are assumed to be "columns" or "attributes"... From your explanation

JSON is a new arrival since it is tied to the Java language. It didn't just appear from thin air. It is one in a line of markup languages that include HTML, XML. These markup languages were devised to transfer data across applications in a platform-neutral format. Before belittling XML , one needs to know the history and evolution of standards.

XML isn't necessarily a bad thing - as with almost anything it has its goods and bads. XML gives you the ability to define XML schemas with datatypes and structure validation while JSON only really supports "basic" data types (e.g. Number, String, Boolean). JSON has readily supported parsers in almost all languages by default and JSONPath is really straightforward when compared to XML's XPATH. This article has some interesting points: digitalbazaar.com/2010/json-vs-xml/ "If all you want to pass around are atomic values or lists or hashes of atomic values, JSON has many of the advantages of XML: it’s straightforwardly usable over the Internet, supports a wide variety of applications, it’s easy to write programs to process JSON, it has few optional features, it’s human-legible and reasonably clear, its design is formal and concise, JSON documents are easy to create, and it uses Unicode. ... ".
