Scrap tin works great for dog house roof instead of shingles. I triple insulated my waters and used the tin for the outside

i made mine 15 x30 used wind boards on the sides and back with a 1/4 in gap helps keep the snow from coming over the roof and coming in to the calf hut have 4 of them they work good

What about taking the short cutoff pieces and put them on the top front to kind of fill it in. Maybe with a hindge down when its really cold up when its nice

I have thousands of carriage type bolts that work good for that. 1/2" & 3/8". You would have to use a thinner header for the tin. Not a 2x4. Nice shelter great job. New welder 🤬🤬 it didn't look red in color.🤣🤣
