My thoughts exactly. Just setting up all the shots where he's coming into frame alone would take much extra time and work. Very cool of him to take these extra steps. Great camera work and editing in general. Surely a labor of love

A Man and his Dog. I find it hard to put in words, but this is my favorite episode since day one of MSR. The scenery, the sound of nature, the absolute best of focus on Cali: TOO GOOD for words. Unreal, for me, a city boy, to see this little red canoe out on this huge body of water all by himself, not another person to be seen is wonderful for him. No One Else but him on this lake. It is all his to do as he wishes in terms of where he wants to go and fish. Wonderful Jimmy, so wonderful for you.

Excellent sound recording ~ even with my eyes shut, the sounds cast perfect scenes of paddling, rod and reel, beaching, unloading, setting up camp, wood collecting, Cali crunching a meal.... the wildlife sounds are outstanding including the mosquito high pitched buzzing but most of all, it is the lapping of the waters that give a sense of ultra serenity with eyes opened to watch the clouds drift by. A beautiful video with two very happy campers❣️Thank you so much for sharing Cali’s first overnight camping and canoe trip.

Ahhh, the quiet beauty and peace of that gorgeous sunset. It stirred that deep longing in my heart to be done with this daily grinding madness of life. No phones, bad news, just the absence of this noisy place. How I long for the quiet beauty of a place where I can turn off the rest of the world for a while and let my mind rest. You found it. I started watching this video with about 300 views. 52 minutes later, i am done and there is 11,000 views. What a great video. So relaxing. I loved seeing that dog just lay there and rest. They arrive at the campsite; Cali -"ok you set everything up while I lay here and supervise".
