I'll take the cool. Dana fought to get the door open on the dorm car. Had to jump about 5 times to bump open the door latch. That is in the video. Hard to see as I didn't zoom in on the action. The operating crews either live in the metro area or stay in a hotel/motel away from the activity at DUS. I jokingly mention the IHOP or Denny's. There aren't any decent places left in that area anymore. Too overrun with homeless druggies and other undesirables. The cold front that blew thru here this morning is on its way. Maybe by the second Thursday of next week. LOL! I did think that you were drying out like the Sahara back there and desired rain. OK Enough is enough. I do understand. I did go to breakfast at a different place today. Then coffee to go and home for the rest of the day. I'll burrow in around sunset with doors and windows closed as well as white noise to drown out the illegal fireworks in the neighborhood. Tomorrow more of the same. It has been a really nice weather day here. I have not closed up the house windows but not too far from it right now. There was a cold front that roared thru here very early this morning that took the humidity and higher temperatures somewhere else. It is currently 79 F. here with a slight breeze from the northeast. It is interesting to see the head end crews have breakfast delivered during the station stop here. I am sure that beats waiting for a table at one of the restaurants in Denver. I did have breakfast at one of the local eateries yesterday. They were open for breakfast and closed at noon to allow the staff time with their families. Anyway, have a great Friday back there. They did change it about 4 months ago and I am still not used to it. #5 used to be slated to arrive at 0505 Mountain Time. Now it is 0546 Mountain Time. Then another 20 minutes was added between here and Denver. Oh well. I think I could beat the Zephyr into Union Station on my trike. LOL! I agree with you about staying free. The present slate of presumptive candidates leave tyranny as an alternative from both sides. Hope that you have a wonderful day down there. Please take care and stay safe!

Fort Morgan doesn't have a fireworks display BUT the city of Brush (10 miles to the east) does v=celebrate Independence Day with a parade, rodeo and evening fireworks display. For those who wish to travel, Denver is having a "drone" display this year and numerous other cities along the front range will have local professional displays as well.
