This morning's California Zephyr #5 made its station stop in Fort Morgan at 0545 MDT (On Schedule). P42s #126 & #204 brought the typical 8-car consist to a stop with car 7 to the station platform for passenger service. There were 5 departing passengers and no new fares today. There was 1 who thought it was ok to detrain but realized this was not her stop.
With the station work safely completed and everyone where they were supposed to be, the A/C gave the highball and on a clear signal, the Zephyr rolled west toward Denver and Union Station as its next stop on the way to Emeryville.
