I'm shocked that producers didn't exploit Tony's blackness more often. But that’s white Hollywood for ya. They write cringeworthy stuff for us. I’m surprised that they didn’t attach Velcro on the ceiling for this B-plot science lesson gag. (Case in point-Some California Dreams fan fiction) SAM: "And now Dr. Goodlookingstein will jump off of Miss Ross's desk, onto this trampoline, while dunking this basketball into this nearby net." TONY: "ummmmmmm Sam? I thought we talked 'bout this? There ain't no way I'm dunking that ball. I might hit my head." SAM: "Don't worry. I've attached Velcro to the ceiling."
