I cannot think of anyone other Senator better suited to replace Diane Feinstein. She goes after solving problems, telling it like it is. That of course does not sit well with her opponents.

@@RHt09 She's not a Councilperson or a County Supervisor. She's a Federally elected official. You should ask "What has she done as a Congressperson" that would be of benefit to her district. Off the top of my head there are infrastructure projects taking place in her district that she voted to pass.

I do not live in California but would DEFINITELY vote for her if I could!!! But since I cannot, I will do what I can to support her in her campaign from way over here in NY State! She is so so intelligent, down to earth and IN TUNE with the average american...how could you NOT vote for her? She may be "an elected official from California", BUT her Whiteboard as well as her line of questioning SHOW ME that she does her research, comes to the table armed with the facts and isn't afraid of direct debate ON BEHALF OF NOT ONLY HER OWN CA CONSTITUENTS, BUT ALL OF US!!! At 73, she is the first politician that I have donated and intend to support and vote for. California and this country need to replace the entrenched democratic politicians that are beholden to big business. A new day is coming and Katie will replace the OLD GUARD. Just go back and see her interrogate Jamie Dimon CEO JP Morgan. She asked him how he could help one of his employees make up a $500 monthly deficit while working for his company. He had to "think about it."

As a single mom myself, I remember those white-board days and Thursday family nights watching the Muppets. Now grown and independent, both are reasonably successful, and independent. Parenting alone means we learned about team work, early. My children grew up into support roles for managing our household and lives together. We need people like Katie Porter, to represent daily lives of working parent, albeit single or partners. Hope you are elected.
