Chris, I believe if you double press the lock button on the remote it will turn off the interior sensors in case you leave a pet in the vehicle.

Thanks Chris. Two issues arising. You can’t put grid refs into the sat nav. At least I have tried every which way without success. You can navigate by grid ref in Google maps but it is very frustrating that you can’t use the VW set up for this. Secondly the procedure for turning off the interior monitoring on the alarm on 6.1 is a pain in the a. It used to be so simple but now you have to remember to turn it off before you turn off the ignition and likewise if you turn it off and then lock the vehicle you’d better not forget anything otherwise you have to turn on the ignition and go through settings on the info centre to find the right setting. At which point the vehicle usually tells you it is searching for the user profile before it will let you turn off the interior monitoring again. What was wrong with the button system on the earlier versions? Thanks very much VW

Hi. I have some questions regarding the T7 California... For the PHEV can the heat and AC run purely from the hybrid battery in some kind of 'accessory' or 'camp mode' until it runs out and then the engine kicks in? If you use this mode do you not need an auxiliary heater? Can this also be done on the multi-van? Are the 240V sockets run from the hybrid battery, or the leisure battery, or is there one of each? Can the leisure battery be charged from the hybrid battery? Does both the leisure battery and the hybrid battery charge from the engine too, as well as being plug-in? Will the multi-van PHEV ever be available for custom order in the UK? Thanks!

VW has got to give us the ability to use the horn without the ignition key being engaged. I parked at West Kirby lake and some old bloke reversed towards me not knowing I was there. I hammered the horn without anything happening and was saved only by a dog walker shouting at the guy reversing towards me.

I was reversed into in my car whilst parked at West Kirby lake. Made me drop my Magnum (ice cream, not gun). Dangerous place.

Hi Chris I think you are incorrect when you say you can't get to the tool kit unless you empty boot - it is possible to get the tools out by pulling the seat as far forward it will go you can remove the screw nearest the sliding door quite easily by reaching in and reach over the seat when to get the other one out - then reach in and simply tilt the box forward and it will slide out between the gap behind the seat and the body work

@@CaliforniaChris its something I found by accident - I have the sliding drawer in mine and its not easy to get to the box via the back but if you go in from the side and side undo the two retaining bolts and drop it 90 degrees it will come un clipped they just stand it up and slide it out - to put it back its the reverse - its not easy but better than emptying the boot

@@california_clarkythe trick to make access easier from the side door is to move the seat stops further forward. I’m the same as you and have a drawer in the rear and have the removable tow bar in the tool kit, so always need access to it.

Hello, I see some California named "Bulli" what is Bulli, is Bulli any different of others?

As far as I know, Bulli is just a nickname for VW vans in Germany. From what I can find in forums, people there can pay to have their badge changed to say Bulli. It's just a nickname, though. If I remember correctly, the ID Buzz was originally shown as the "VW Bulli" when it was a concept but was later changed to the Buzz.

Thoes anyone know when new Cali T7 is start to sell?

Depends where in the world you are. Orders are open in Germany now. UK I would expect near the end of the year or start of next year. That's just speculation, though. Nothing confirmed for UK or elsewhere as far as I know.

@@CaliforniaChris thanks allot. Do you have any information about the cost in Germany, is it more expensive than the T6.1? I live in Sweden, here you can only order a front well drive 150hp one color tone....and no information about when T7 is going to be launched.

@@yellr68 I'm not so much about badge, I think the new one looks great. I drew a new multivan and it's softer and more suptile compared to the Caravel, I like the new one more

I use digital GPS-coordinates frequently, e.g. 48.03778,7.13472 You may replace the komma with a space. So the format would be XX.XXXXX,X.XXXXX or XX.XXXXX X.XXXXX
