For RIIZE I loved their Talk Saxy outfits..(I replayed Sungchan's part at the beginning too many times T-T). The performance of Poison? Nah ain't talking about that. NCT DREAM did amazing.

aespa did slay the performance! Yeah I saw all of this and was like daaaamn and they still slayed the performance. Makes me stan even harder! StayC and KOL like you don't need to have lots of money to have great style. Your example about the $50 dress is so spot on. Plus there are going to be so many stylists who charge different fees. These labels could find up and coming stylists who would jump at the opportunity to style Idols and still have an affordable fee. This is such an amazing question! This is really hard and I've been sat here thinking so hard haha. BG probably BTS because each of the member's have such different styles and I'd love to 1) see a totally different vibe in every outfit. Also imagine if I didn't know who picked it and had to guess, that would be fun! and 2) be pushed to try something I wouldn't necessarily wear normally. GG this won't be a shock but aespa haha. I think they did a great job dressing Lyndsey. They thought about what she'd like but gave it their own flair. I'd be really interested to see how they'd style menswear

First of all, I'm fucking screaming at 'Hot Topic Princesses in the best way possible' like omg I looooove! I'm with you but I think they did a really good job as SHINee. Comes together beautifully and each member has their own vibe. I think they could do more of their own vibe each but just limit how far they take it and have a similar element in each. Like if Taemin did a cummerbund that cinched and Minho had the classic piece oh yes!

These outfits would've been custom made for the girls, so it's not really up to the stylist to perform a quality control check on the pieces. That should've been the job of the manufacturer, seamstress etc

Who is their stylist? This is always my problems with stage looks and red carpet. The stage looks hit and the red carpet flops, why? I just don't understand it. Saying that, I really didn't like IVE's stage looks for MMA

I really don't believe budget plays into it. Sure you won't be wearing designer labels or be able to afford the best hair/ makeup however there are always up and coming stylists, hair and make up artists who are extremely talented

Not a great first impression however I won't hold this against them haha. Red carpet always seems to be where a lot of groups get stuck. Haha why do you think it looks awful? Is it the fact it's grey and there isn't grey elsewhere in the set of outfits? StayC always seem to have issues like c'mon you can do it StayC!!! The pronunciation tips are always hugely appreciated 💕 I was editing my MAMA video and was like how in the fuck did I pronounce Eunseok wrong. @georgehollins 🙂 About the harnass on Sohee, no, it's not that it's gray, but it looks sooo unfinished. It's like they had a leftover piece of fabric and threw it on him. Or that he left halfway during tailoring or something. And because it's gray, it draws your attention, it should be the highlight, yet it looks like a romper or something 🫣 The fact that those small pronunciation mistakes make you cringe shows you care a lot, and I think that's awesome 👍 Now, I think there are levels to pronunciation. I don't think it's realistic to expect an English (or any non-korean) speaker to be 100% correct. There's always gonna be accents and what not. For me personally, the most important part is getting the vowels right. The rest is bonus 😄 Also, I'm not a native Korean speaker myself, I'm just learning at the moment, so I won't have all the answers. I'm not that familiar with (new) boygroups, but dropping the "L" on Leehan seems correct. In Korean, his name is actually spelled "ihan" (ee-han). It's the same with IVE's Leeseo. That's spelled "iseo" (ee-seo). As well as a LOT of Koreans have family name "Lee" which is actually spelled "i" (ee). The pronunciation of it, in my experience, sounds a little bit like "yee" or "hee". It's like "ee" but starting softly or sliding into it. But like I said, personally, I think this falls into the category that you can't really expect for casual foreigners to get correct. Dropping the "w" on Woonhak looks to be correct as well. His name is actually spelled "unhag" (oon-hag). The "g" at the end is almost silent though. Same with Gunwook. F*ck these inconsistent romanizations 😡 A much better romanization imo would be "geon-oog", with the final "g" being near silent again. So how did you do? Pretty good in my opinion 👍

@georgehollins "How are you finding learning it?" The language, like all languages, isn't easy 😅. BUT, the best thing is: you don't have to learn the entire language to be able to pronounce their names correctly. You just need to learn their alfabet! Which is actually easier than you might think. And (you might be surprised by this) their pronunciation is WAAAAAY simpler than English. For example, in English, you have multiple ways to write the same sound: - be, see, sea, ski, sunny Also, there are multiple ways to pronounce the same letter: - do, not, go In Korean however, the letters are ALWAYS pronounced the same way! So, the best tip I can give you is to learn the korean alfabet. It will take you far less time than learning each name separately (because of the super inconsistent romanization). Some ppl say it will only take you 1 hour, but I don't want to put a number on it because everybody is different. But just know that it's easier than you might think. I mean, the language was DESIGNED to be easy to learn, read and write. To give you an idea, here are the 8 vowels/sounds: ㅣ[i] like "ski" (Li-a, Mi-yeon, Ji-soo). ㅏ [a] like the first "a" in "mama" (Na-yeon, Ga-eul, Li-a, Han-bin). ㅓ [eo] like "more" (Lee-seo, So-yeon, Jeong-yeon). ㅗ [o] like "go" (So-yeon, Min-ho, Le-o) ㅜ [u] like "rude" (Ji-u, Jun-ho) ㅡ [eu] like the "e" in "model", so "mo-deul" (Seung-min, Eun-chae, Ga-eul) ㅔ [e] like "get" (Se-jeong, Le-o) ㅐ [ae] also like "get", or "death" if you want (Tae-rae, Chae-yeon, Eun-chae) Good luck with whatever choice you'll make 👍 And I'll be looking forward to the AAA video!
