Fantastic story of you and your Dad back in the day. So much of it brings back memories of my Dad and I back in the little league days and how I loved it when I made him proud. Thanks for the happy birthday for Willie Mays too ! He's been my idol/hero since 1956. Happy birthday Willie. SayHey24

Gave a like - Great story of playing ball and your dad being proud on a play you made. Awesome Bobby Doerr! That is such a cool set, with or without the comics on the front. The Sal Maglie is cool. Love those Reb Man cards. Those are some really nice 1967 Venezuelan League cards. Thanks for sharing, John

Timely story about your Dad and Willie Mays Mangini. RIP 🙏 My Dad was a star third baseman for Nevada Southern College (before it became UNLV) and was invited to camp with the SF Giants. He did not raise me but saw me play in an All Star game in Vegas once. He told me afterward he thought I had more talent than him. That was nowhere near the truth but just hearing it from him was indeed impactful. Thanks for sharing your cards. 👍

Great cards, nice Bobby Doerr! Sal the Barber Redman is cool. Hernandez and Tiant also played for the Twins. Famous double play combination, Hernandez to Carew to Killebrew. Couple of them were famous anyway.

Willie John Mangini!! And happy 93rd birthday to Mr. Mays. I agree that, a Dad being proud of of their son & their achievements. Is special. Compliments can be rarer than cards. Al Bundy, a high school football legend. Bundy, threw 4 touchdowns in one game! I can't believe his Dad didn't brag about it to his friends too! Ed O'Neill, was undrafted by your Pittsburgh Steelers, but got cut. Had to compete against ''Mean'' Joe Greene. So it's understandable. I would say the acting thing, was the right decision. Haha.

Speaking of Willie, can you do a video of Willie Stargell? I know you're a big Pirates fan, and Stargell was one of my favorite players as a kid. Maybe show us your top five Willie Stargell cards.

All great stories Willie Mangini. Actually John sounds better. Great Venezuelan cards. Actually i guessed your trivia, Pirates but i dont remember Tiant on the Pirates. True about our kids. My daughter in middle school played 3rd base back in the day n did like a Brooks Robinson play n threw the runner out. Take care.

Did you know that the 1951 Bowman Willie Mays will hold little to no value in the future? He will have no future cultural relevance. I heard that from an expert recently.
@MrJmangini

I’ve heard lots of “experts” and people who can see the future. They are like a piece of lint. I flick it off and never think about it again.

@@MrJmangini What "expert" even says something so ignorant anyhow? It's like saying Babe Ruth or Mickey Mantle will not be remembered. There seems to be alot of self-proclaimed experts nowadays. I guess it takes very little knowledge to become an expert anymore. This particular "expert" really takes the cake. He does make alot of good points, but he's dead wrong if he thinks Mays will hold no value. I've even been told to stop wasting money on Willie Mays and how he's not an investment. Lots of know-it-all experts.

Those 1967 Venezuelan Topps are awesome. The photography is so radically different looking from the US version they are quite cool. If they have any HOFers in the set and you have them, please show them in an upcoming video.
