Call of Duty is a monolith of a franchise. At this point it has as many detractors as it has fans. Advanced Warfare seems to promise something new to Call of Duty experience. And moreso than any recent Call of Duty game, it delivers on that promise. Don't get me wrong, this game is Call of Duty to it's core. The campaign is exactly what you expect from a COD story; fast pace scripted events that give you little leeway on how to play the game, but make you feel like you're an action star in a blockbuster movie. Sledgehammer didn't stray far from the formula in this regard. And if you enjoyed other Call of Duty campaigns, I think you will definitely enjoy this one. The voice acting and motion cap work really shine here, and the series-first pre-rendered cutscenes are a welcome addition.
As far as multiplayer goes, this is where the game really shines. Like I said, it definitely feels like Call of Duty, but the EXO suit really make the game so much more fast paced and skillful. As in every Call of Duty there are perks and abilities that are suited for campers, but the speed of the game will outshite that aspect of the game, at least in my opinion.

I love the part where the AST just rolls in with his minigun spun up and downs the helicopter chasing you. Then his armor retracts and he looks at you like you just forced him off his coffee break or something.

You might hear the audio drop in 2 sections. These parts are small, and had to be removed for copyright reasons. Other than that everything is intact and the viewing experience should be great!

I don't know about the hate bandwagon on this but I like Sci-Fi themed battles and involves PMCs. Every boy ever dreamt of being a soldier that's for sure. Now I'm 26 and a graduate of engineering I wish there are PMCs in Asia I can join in.

Pretty good story. I also like how Hades plays similar to Loki (One who is Locked) in a Damned if you Do, Damned if you Don't situation...where you don't want to move "Forward", so you just *DAMN EVERYTHING & SET EVERYTHING ON FIRE!* type of approach. Whoever wrote this story knows how to communicate "Ordo Ab Chao" & display circular reasoning in all its hellish stupidity. Break in the Pattern & Patterns of Breaks

Haven't finished the entire video yet, but I like that so far the game seems to feel like a Treyarch and Infinity Ward game all at once. Particularly the MW trilogy and BOps2. That being said, it is still a bit bothersome that our main protagonist doesn't speak at all during gameplay despite the fine example Treyarch set with that in BOps1+2. And considering the fact that we only follow 1 protagonist the entire game, I think it'd be best if the character was expanded upon in gameplay. Especially with Troy Baker playing Mitchell.

I didn't understand their logic in having him not speak during the gameplay section, when he speaks during cutscenes. It does give it a quite feel sometimes, but for the most part you're so into the action it doesn't matter. But I 100% agree with you

When I first got the game,my mind was BLOWN I was happy I got the day zero edition and I beat the campaign on veteran and it was really hard and frustrating but I managed to beat it,took like a day or two.

Falcon VS The Game Well the collective IQ of all CoD players is about 20-25 maximum - so for them to comprehend 'bad guy' - basically you have to make him do something like that - a full blown attack on their country. Otherwise *they'd be confused as fuck* as to what is going on, and why 'Atlas is bad guys'. It's quite insulting to us clever people who can actually comprehend and understand a somewhat not so simple plot, instead when we thought we had a complex compelling thought provoking storyline - we get the most annoying and degrading result - which shows what the demographic of Call Of Duty is retarted.

well maybe the fact that you should consider is that the panel door that was pinning Will's arm was securing the most important part of the ship, the control panel, and its purpose would be defeated if it didn't have a good failsafe (such as closing really hard and really fast) that was strong enough to combat at least a few soldiers trying to pry it open without better tools.

That part around 51:00 was so fake with the Jeep driving into the main character yet he lives and then Hades speaking after his throat was slit.If bullets can damage the main character then a Jeep ramming him into a wall would surely kill him and then Hades passed out from having his throat cut only to regain consciousness and tell the main character Iron knows. I realize it's only a game but that part was so over the top it became a bit cheesy.

Almost 7 years later, and imo this game holds up. It is a balanced game in terms of bad and good stuff. Eso Zombies was meh, MP was stellar if the weapon variations didn’t give you better stats, and the campaign is absolutely stellar. Easy top 10 choice imo

This was a really fun game overall. I played through the campaign like 3 times and the cutscenes look outstanding. My only gripe is them killing off Kevin Spacey's character. Especially since he really stole the show here in an otherwise fairly average story. His character reminded me a lot of Jorhan Stahl from Killzone 3, voiced by another awesome actor, Malcolm McDowell, who was another favourite character that I wish wasn't killed off.. But Advanced Warfare is still a really entertaining shooter. Especially the almost-Star Fox-esque jetfighter part.
