Mikey and Romeo 4-8's deaths at 10:03 weren't brutal to me, since they're being shot at rather then decapitated or blown up, but instead saddened and enraged me. I wanted revenge for their deaths, so I murdered the butcher in old comrades hundreds of times

There's something about the ambient scripted deaths that I really like. Like the guy at 4:50, or the four US soldiers at 9:57. They happen regardless of where the player is or if they're even looking, and it just adds to the impression that this is a breathing world that doesn't solely revolve around the player.

5:09 You can shoot the "bad guy" through the door before he shoots your team member there. It's pretty funny to hear the other guy yell "ANSWER THE DOOR!" as the one who would be shooting through it chokes on his own blood. Captain Price commends you for it afterwards too. 5:51 I like to use the shotgun there and get between her and the detonator, then when she goes for it you blast her across the room; it's awesome.

Hitman 7-2 was mowed down by a machine gun turret earlier. Hitman 7-4 was the guy dragging Alex. So who the fuck is this Marine supposed to be?! (Edit March 7th 2021) it's actually sergeant Hoyt, the team leader. Randolf was killed offscreen while trying to help Alex, while the other guys with them were killed by rockets

Actually Hitman 7-5 dragged Alex then killed offscreen along with Hitman 7-1, Hitman 7-3 died in the truck and Hitman 7-4 was the one covering 7-5 and Alex, got shot, then yelled "who the fuck is this!"

Damn, a lot of these scenes remind me of the film Sicario; action scenes that aren't particularly drawn out, exaggerated, or contrived. Just one moment, a bunch of people are alive, and then dead. It's kind of a shocking thing when it's actually represented well.

@@jadalomer1295 When the insurgents attacked the Marines, they thought they were attacking Russians. That’s why they got anxious when they found out they had just killed several Americans and say they had to get out of there’s, they were not the enemy. Also, Hadir had a gas mask on and Alex was likely dazed after the attack. Hadir was nice to Alex because he had no reason not to be. Alex did not know it was Hadir who had killed the Marines he was attached to.

Man..defending the ambassador's house in The Embassy mission on Realism difficulty was legitimately terrifying. Swarms of enemies as your fellow defenders get savagely riddled by small arms fire. Game says, "your feelings are ours to play with". It's quite awesome lol

I did that mission on veteran once, died at least 10 times lol. The only good place in that mission when you defend the ambassador's residence is staying on the roof with Alex, Hadir and the Marines.
