The weapon selection is not bad, I particularly like the inclusion of the Owen gun, charleton automatic rifle, and fedorov avtomat.

I literally had to replayed panzerfaust's "reloading" animation twice, the weapon was meant as a disposable single use anti tank weapon, its impossible to reload it.

The Combat Shotgun's the Model 1897, but the riot model just like what it was back in COD:WW2 according to a comment that I saw in another video. Despite that inconsistency (It should've been the trench gun model), it having M680 reload anims is still rad.

It pains me that SHG calls the M1A1 Thompson the "M1928" They are literally 2 different guns and are not the same

Same as in COD WWII, the Volkssturmgewehr was a semi-auto rifle, it was a last-ditched rifle of Germany near the end of WWII

Mosin negant has the correct animation as you can get rid of the empty striper clip by placing the bolt in firing poison you have to remove it. By hand the gun animations are great In this game look very realistic

there is something wrong with color palette/graphics and sound design in this game, but animations are pretty good tho, still not good as MW but better than Cold War for sure

I get the rage over the cursed customisations, it is cursed in my opinion, but let's appreciate the fact that SHG used MW2019's engine instead of BOCW's, and the animations and sounds are mostly smooth.

I remember being a kid and being so disappointed that I wasn't allowed to play Call of Duty. My father used to tell me something along the lines of, "Oh, by the time you're old enough, it'll be so much better." Boy was he wrong. The past few years, with maybe the exception of MW 2019, have been a disaster

The handguns are trying too hard to look modern, should have had a one handed stance personally. Klauser (Luger P08) - you still need to remove the magazine by hand on empty reloads, they don't fall out by force like an M1911 would. RATT (Tokarev TT-33) - the animation is so robotic Machine Pistol (Mauser M712/C96 hybrid) - the fire selector is missing. Combat Shotgun (Winchester 1897) - if this is supposed to represent the Trench Gun version, the barrel is very long and the bayonet lug is missing. And the shells don't deform upon release. Gracey Auto (Browning Auto-5) - the bolt release is there to allow inserting of shells, especially for pre-1950s Auto-5 shotguns. Without pressing the bolt release, a shell cannot be inserted or even chambered. MP40 - Fire rate seems too high. Though the grip is a bit likeable though. STEN - okay, the usual jammable method of holding the magazine. Iron sight picture of the stock model is too weird. M1928 (actually an M1A1 Thompson) - yet again a curse from COD WW2 brought to Vanguard. Should have had an actual M1928A1 Thompson to accept a drum magazine. STG44 - the reload looks too modern, again. ITRA Burst (Breda M1935 PG) - the rate of fire is too fast. Also the burst system works like a clock - shoot one in semi auto, you get three round bursts, etc. Volkssturmgewehr (VG 1-5, MP507) - the model in-game is only available for semiautomatic IRL. A full auto version was supposed to exist with a foregrip, though it's still disputed (BFV has the proper full auto version). The fire selector switch is correct though, and thankfully the reload has been improved from COD WW2. NZ41 (Charlton Automatic Rifle) - mirrored model, but okay. AS-44 - yet another mistake from COD WW2. The AS-44 was open bolt. BAR M1918A2 - No, the fire selector allows for full auto in slow ROF, or fuller auto in faster ROF. Automaton (Fedorov Avtomat M1923) - unless the Soviets managed to mass produce magazines for the Fedorov, it still needs stripper clips of 6.5 Arisaka to reload the magazine. G43 (Gewehr 43) - No, the 10 round magazine was straight, not curved. Looks like all bolt action rifles are following the Kar98k MW2019 style of reloading. Not bad, as long as it tracks the bullets needed for the tactical reload. Bren Gun - finally an improvement from COD WW2. Though tbh a foregrip should have been added, the way the character grips the Bren is a bit uncomfortable. Type 11 MG - Why are the stripper clips not making any sounds when ejected? Also that "magazine" removal is too robotic. MG42 - big W because of improvement. The ROF is correct this time. Though tbh a 100 round loose belt would have been nice as a gunsmith option. DP27 - Rate of fire is too fast. Panzerfaust - NO NO NO NO NO. The Panzerfaust is a one-time use launcher only. This is super cursed. Panzerschreck (Raketenpanzerbuchse 54) - That rocket would fall off immediately upon insertion, need to connect a wire to allow the rocket to fire. M1 Bazooka - this will fire without the wire connection, but is super anachronistic for the time period Vanguard is set in.

There’s a lot wrong here and it’s mostly the modern tactical speed reloading stuff, some of this stuff like the gracey autos bolt release (which I’m not entirely sure is even real) and the more modern 2 handed pistol use just cuts away from what little realism there already was in cod

This game just feels lazy, they call the Thompson the 1928 instead of the M1A1, they have an assault rifle category even though assault rifles weren’t a thing 80 years ago and I can put a red dot on my Garand like what?

Shell casing ejection of PPSH 41 is finally done righteously right. Vertical ejection of shell casing is quite nice to see. A little shame that shell casing doesn't drop down

Gunsmith and the tacticool reloads only really work in a modern/futuristic environment. I mean credit for putting in the effort honestly but it just doesn't really work.

There are so many cursed guns you can make in this game that no even Brandon Herrera wants to make a video about them. As a side not, the snipers, I love how when ADSing it looks like your punching yourself in the face with the bolt every time you chamber a new round XD.

God so many things are wrong here. I’ll say this; I’m glad COD finally included the Owen gun but a) it fires way too slow and b) why does it use the proper iron sights of the Sten but the actual Sten gun does not?

Also, holding a tommy gun like a PPSH should be a war crime.
