Touching down on the water is genuinely when the game can get overwhelming. Never have I seen the chaos of battle replicated to this degree in a game. The screaming men begging for help, kamikaze all around, ships blowing up, PT boats and fighter jets shooting at you and the men in the water, and that bomb ass soundtrack barely drowning out the orders being barked at you. All of this while you have to hit your shots or you’re dead. I love this game…

"Take out those fucking PT boats!, they're our biggest threat right now!." "This is getting too risky, should we abort?". "Negative, we can do this!".

I love it how the guy gets hit in the face with flak and get right back up like "ok f**kers, my turn!"

This is definitely the best turret section of any late 00's/early 10's FPS, probably because it doesn't feel like a turret section.

CoD4, CoD5, CoD6 and CoD7 is where this series peaked.

I love how this game made you feel like a soldier being ordered to take out the pt boats and save whatever's left of your comrades instead of trying to be heroic the music starts off fast paste then slows down indicating that you could die at any moment if you're not accurate with the guns on the plane

I remember trying to recreate this in ravenfield and men of war AS2 with certain mods, only problem is in ravenfield if you get shot 2.5 times with a 22. Your whole bomber warps straight to hell, forget crashing and drowning, still pretty cool absolutely love it, but i personally like it when the bit that sounds like the cannons comes on while your moving around the aircraft, sounds like bullets hitting the plane too me
