Hearing primis richtofen cry and say he was the nicest one, and that they won’t even rememeber actually hurts.

I can never forget how the devs decided that Nikolai would be the catalyst for change and to save the universe from continuously fracturing. His much more stable and mature Origins self was absolutely perfect for that role. His ending managed to pull a few heartstrings and especially talking about his beloved.

Okay, 40:02 and the whole ending of the story made me cry. Their efforts were not worthless, but in the end everything still got destroyed. This story was also confusing, yet it made sense in the end. The funny thing was that Nikolai didn’t play a huge huge role throughout the story, and at the end he played probably the biggest one. And he knew the truth about it all. 59:24 “We fought for what we wanted. We got more than we deserved. All the chapters of our lives, good and bad. Even if there was no witness, even if no one could have seen, it still happened, somewhere. We were always doomed to fail. Monty told us the truth. Our journey is the very reason this madness exists! We are the ones who fractured the universe.”

I barely played zombies but the series has stolen my heart, and it got absolutely shattered seeing how everyone had to die. If there was a standalone game about the entire Aether story I would buy it without hesitation.

I like how Dempsey kills his other self and has a moment of humanity in the face of death Takeo has a moment of realization where understands where his blind faith leads him Nikolai comes to terms with what alcoholism and denial has done to his sanity And Richthofen just blows his face off to shut himself up

Even though the good old days playing these maps with my buddies are gone, I’ll always have the memories. This hits deep

Seeing how all this tied together and how the hero’s went out was satisfying! All those hours spent with the crew has memorable. Thank you treyarch!

One day we’re having the time of our lives in a German Theater, the next we’re crying at the final chapters for the characters we’ve grown to love over the past 10+ years. I may not have played Zombies back in the day, but I’ve certainly known about it for a while and still feel like it was a part of my youth. It wasn’t until I was 12 when I finally learned about who Dempsey, Nikolai, Richthofen, and Takeo were, and I was obsessed with these 4 characters. Now I’m 15 and have been playing a lot of Black Ops Zombies with a long-time friend of mine and we are having a blast. It’s definitely fun to experience what it was like back in the early 2010s, and I hope that future generations could experience exactly what those before them have felt back in the prime of gaming.

Man. Seeing this video, reminded me of the first time, I played Black ops 1 zombies almost 11 years. I was afraid of zombies at first but playing the game was really fun. All the way in Black ops 4, I would play zombies, and I learned the storyline. I really wish that it didn't have to end, but Thank You Treyarch.

I’ll always be glad to have experienced this from the beginning and I’ll always miss the excitement seeing the new maps! It was more than just a simple mode for me it created countless memories with my friends.

10 years later and I’m still confused about this storyline lol.

This is the greatest story ever told in videogame history, a tale of many universes, 4 brothers finding themselves shifting through time and realities, with monsters beyond human comprehension, with an extremely sad ending that, in the end, we all knew it was necessary to solve it all. Thank you Treyarch for crafting me the greatest childhood i could ever ask for. I will show this to my kids and I will narrate them the legendary story of Tank, Nikolai, Takeo and Richthofen.

I used to play zombies in middle school, this was a series I grew up with, a series that helped me make friends, and memories, and seeing it have a bitter end. Makes it sad but I'm so glad I got to experience it, one day I'll make my kids play through the story game by game like I did 😎
