if you dont want to jig at max depth, you dont need to. just got him on with 3/0 worm with constant jigging retrieval at 1x speed, maybe 15 feet off the bottom. first cast, no less. but either way, jigging off the very bottom doesnt seem necessary or optimal for any fish in this game

I dont have the best gear yet. But you need the best gear to catch this fish? And you need legendary fish to get the best gear? So am i just screwed this week? Do i need to wait until next week to continue the grind for the best stuff?

You can try lower gear but need to have luck and be sure you look at a obstacle. So you can try to get the fish stuck against the obstacle.

Your reel isnt giving line your pulling the bait closer and its sinking back to the bottom if u look u have 27m of line out in 16m of water jigging is a vertical thing so if u would reel till u had about 15m of line out u could jig it without hitting the bottom
