In all of my 63 years, I have not lost brands but never did own a Titleist. I think just because, I will splurge and get a box. I have Chrome soft, Srixon, TP5’s, so I have several brands to play. It’s high time I see what all the buzz is about with the Titleist. I owe it to myself to see. Now the older Callaway HX Tours, I could hit those straighter than my Srixon’s, but the Srixons went farther. For me. I would rather be in the middle of the fairway rather than longer 24:05 and in the woods.

When you say Chrome Soft's "previous generations" had too much spin and you'd lose distance, is that as recent as the 2022 version or are you talking further back?

Great info and video! I watched your review on the new and improved Mizuno tour golf ball, curious to see which of these 2 you prefer. I myself like a softer feeling ball but not to the point I over compress it or it spins too much and cost me distance, but those are the 2 I’m most interested in. Thanks Jim, have a great day!

How did the two of them differ in feel, Jim? Any difference at all?

I had high hopes for the Chrome Tour Ball as a competitor for the ProV1 but I just did not like it. Sound and feel were not great (in my opinion) and performance was average. Titleist is staying in the bag for me this year.
