I don’t necessarily agree with this comment. I just got fitted for the paradym and It was a noticeable difference compared to my epic flash sub zero

TSR wins the ball speed battle. I am seeing big distance out of the Callaway for some reason.

It seems that the forgiveness is also good ...hitting 17mm of the centre and getting 291 carry means lots of forgiveness

I was quoted a stupid price for a Stealth with boutique shaft last year. It only gained me about 5 meters and the dispersion was almost the same as my Mavrik. Why would I bother.

Yea, it's only worth it to upgrade every 6-7 years now. More so to get yourself re fitted to see what has changed in your swing/body

Thankfully we won’t be fitting many folks with Rogue Drivers. The average age of the the drivers we come up against is 5years old.

Agreed. I just wish there was a method to actually show the improvements. Its almost impossible to show that every 8 months these new drivers have improved. I would say more like every 4 years there might be a slight improvement.

@@markmorrissey1646 my guess is its a discrepancy between elevation and air density on the launch monitor. California will be set at sea level. Then back home in Toronto they have it set differently. Even though they should be set the same.

It has nothing to do with air density. AOA was much lower in this trip and all the drivers were 10.5 in loft, consequently his spin loft went up, throw in a few miss hits and there goes 25 yards.

Driver tech has been maxed since like 2014. It’s basically impossible to make anything more forgiving or carry farther than what drivers have been doing for the past 5-8 years. Find one you like the look, feel, and sound of, put a good shaft in it, and don’t even look at the marketing for new drivers until you’ve played the one you’ve got for about 5 years. Then you might find something worth upgrading for.

@xTRUExiNsANiTYx Not sure about that, if you put a TSR up against a 913 from Titleist you'll see some differences. Companies haven't even started on Graphene yet. Just find Callaway drivers very disappointing these last few years. They have pattern of giving you a movable weight at the back and then taking it away a year later, and the amount of weight you can shift or swap, doesn't change from one year to the next. I'm mean look at Stealth 2, it'll have its critics, but that front weight is heavier, the back weight will be heavier etc etc. Every year Callaway says "we've freed up weight " and yet this triple diamond model has pretty much the same movable weights as the Epic Sub Zero from 6 years back!

@@GRIFF22 because they’re all the same. It’s just all marketing at this. Trying to sell you on some new “tech” that doesn’t even really impact performance at all. They’ve literally maxed out the legal CoR numbers. There’s no way to get anything else out of the drivers. Rick Shiels tested 5 years worth of Titleist drivers a few years back which included the 913. He was getting 274 yards of carry from the 913, and when he did the TSi3 he was getting 277. 9 years go by and a few hundred bucks (thousands if you’re getting a new head more than once every 5 years or so, which you shouldn’t) and only 3 extra yards. That’s negligee, and probably down to contact consistencies and strike patterns. I don’t know why you are willing to accept these companies’ marketing when it’s clear they’ve reached their maximum potential. You can hit a Speed, Mavrik, and Rogue just as far and straight as you can this new Paradym. Same thing with TaylorMade. Hell, I think the M2 is the hottest driver they ever made. Still just as good as M3-M6, plus Sim and Sim2, now Stealth. Driver technology has not truly gotten better since about 2010, and especially not since 2015. It literally can’t by rule.

That alwats happens the USGA list isnt necessarily a list of released or Tour drivers. Thats not a good thing to track in that respect.

Don't even waste your money. Until people stop paying these insane prices they will keep adding $50 bucks every year. I worked in the industry and was a professional fitter for years and its a crime how customers are being taken advantage of. These drivers have less than $100 dollars of material and its just all marketing. Instead get a head from the last 10 years and get the correct shaft. A well fitted shaft will change your game way more than a new head with a new name and different colors.

@@jojosaute When I worked in the golf industry the markups on proline equipment wasn't very much. Cost on this is probably $575 to $ 600 and retail is $800. Most proline equipment runs at about 25 percent margin. Now when you get down to lower end clubs the margins can be 100 to 125 percent. The manufacturer makes absolute bank on the proline equipment.

Agreed Epic Flash was meh, Mav was OK, Epic Speed was really solid, Rogue was better but Paradym is a completely different animal. Go hit it.
