@ashleymeggan that is not a benefit to the kid. Not being able to take being the subject of the joke for something that is not intrinsic to you is very low level socialization. Even if it was major bullying you just got to equip the kid with the skills to handle the bully. The kid can't runaway from a bad coworker or boss.

The quickness to go from last week hailing Milroe and how much better their defense would be this year after playing MTSU, to the absolute doom and gloom after losing to a very good and talented Texas team is absolutely mind boggling. Now everyone is calling Milroe the worst qb in history, the defense is trash, and absolutely no credit given to the fact that maybe just MAYBE Texas might be a very good football team. I know. Ridiculous to think a fellow blue blood might have found its footing and outclassed mighty Alabama. Must be a fluke and Saban lost control of the program lol. Bama fans are the definition of being spoiled by the GOAT for entirely too long. After this I hope Bama fires Saban and he goes to Auburn and leads them to a decade of SEC dominance to spite the Bama fanbase because that's what they deserve.

Longhorn fan here. I (obviously) enjoyed watching the game on Saturday and was thrilled Sark and Texas pulled off the upset. It's probably true that (most) Tide fans have become spoiled by Nick Saban's incredible record as Alabama's head coach. (Texas fans had previously become spoiled under Mack Brown, who isn't nearly the GOAT that Saban is.) Last year's game in Austin was close, one that Texas coulda/woulda/shoulda won were it not for Heisman winner Bryce Young's Tom-Brady-like game winning drive. Alabama played fairly well on Saturday night, but Texas had the QB edge this time around with second-year starting QB Ewers versus *second-game* starting QB Milroe. Milroe was committed to Texas before [Alabama assistant coach] Sarkisian got him to switch his commitment to Alabama, so Jalen was wanted by both schools, and I'll root for him anytime he and Bama aren't playing the Horns. Inexperienced QBs make more mistakes than experienced ones do, and Texas was able to take advantage of that by picking him off twice. That doesn't mean Milroe won't be a really good QB for Bama by the end of this year. Bama is just as capable of winning the SEC now as they were before Saturday night, so good luck to the Tide the rest of the year.

Watching their response in a very hostile environment certainly paints this team in a different light. That isn't to say they won't stumble, but I'll be watching very closely and I have a feeling your claim today they will come up short of the playoffs is premature. We shall see

The exact same thing was happening from Texas fans 2 weeks ago. Saying that SARK could be fired this year and go back to bama. Saying SARK was the worst coach ever yadda yadda yadda. But this week oh my lawd he’s the savior that they knew he’d be. I’m a bama fan and I’d start with the center before I’d bench milroe, I would’ve at least given Buchner a chance in the 3rd quarter. The fact that saban has set the bar so high is disastrous for Saturday evening “fans” because they don’t appreciate wins they just assume it should happen. But I remember the days of gene stallings, Shula and bill curry.

Thank you for uploading this. This is my favorite show to listen to. I was going to listen to this live but instead I listened to my other favorite show which is the Michael kay show. They talk new york sports and i had to listen to that show after the new york giants 40-0 loss. So yeah two of my favorite shows to listen to are happening at the same time lol. I would listen to the michael kay show during the spring and summer and i would listen to the paul finebaum show during the fall and winter.

LONGHORNS ALUMNUS here and I absolutely loved the win over Alabama. I am no fan of Alabama but I in no way think they are out of the playoff picture. They had a bad game against a very good and well coached LONGHORNS team. And I am not just saying that as a fan. I find it crazy that Alabama fans are already calling the season over. They have had loses before and coach Saban has always managed to bring them back. As much as I dislike Alabama I have no doubt they will make a run at the playoffs or at least a major bowl game. Man it's been a long time since i heard the Paul Finebaum show. I just now discovered this YT video. I listened to this show in the 90's a couple of times, didn't know it was Finebaum. Then re discovered the radio show driving long miles home from work in 2010. Haven't heard the show since about 2019. This is some good radio.
