I use to think the same until I realized that we call our lovers baby or babe(which is just a shirt version of baby) and that's also what you call a actually baby or child and just think about everything you do with your lover that you wouldn't do to a actual baby yet we call our lovers baby. Both are super weird if you look too into it. So I kinda got over the idea of daddy being weird once I realized the whole baby thing and I never found baby weird until that so why treat the word daddy different. That's just my idea of it though.
