I have known Andile Mngxitama since 2008 as Political Science Honours students at Wits University. I have never met a man so committed to his ideas. Andile is a scholar, a true Bikoist! One that pioneered a new social movement, took part in Politics and left the EFF cause it did not match his ideological values, that is being principled. Andile does not have to play in the mainstream to justify his ideas! He also has worked with MK! A published author with his frank talk booklets we used to buy and one of the best Biko books l have read, Biko Lives, that explains the true nature of our society. This man has been working... Give Andile his flowers! He has contributed to this country immensely!

Penuel, you said you believe Gouws is a racist, that's obvious. But what about Rob Hersov? On MacG podcast when Rob asked about what role he had in apartheid he quickly changed the subject, and lied.( Surely he did national service) He also denied that apartheid played a role in the current situation stating "its absolute rubbish , you just need good literacy and numeracy " . I watched with a friend here in Australia , we were shocked how that comment was glossed over . if someone denied the Stolen Generation didn't have an effect on the Aboriginal people , live on TV, there would be public outrage .Its compulsory in our education system to learn the impact colonialism had on Aboriginal people. Yet apartheid ended 30 years ago , and no one picked up on Rob's naive and blatant denial ? Watch over MacG podcast, when Rob first arrived in SA , if you missed it. I understand Andile's outrage at Rob's arrogance!

So in that way it was difficult for him to change things. As much as I agree with some your points but I think you are being unfair to Msholozi & Mngxitama. Out of all ANC presidents, Zuma is the only president who said it in Parliament, while addressing house of traditional leaders, that all black parties in parliament must unite to bring back the land, in response Thabo Mbeki wrote 30 page later accusing Zuma of acting against ANC policy. Even on Andile you are being harsh, it could be because of what he said, accusing you of whatever he accused you of. The honest truth is that even if he wanted to take your advice, do whatever you adviced him to do, that would still require a lot of money, money that Andile does not have. Those are my views
@Scriptural_Truths26 күн бұрын
I am a supporter of Msholozi. I really hope to see MKP enters into a 'coalition' with the ANC and co-govern this country. Conversely, what Penuel is saying is true. uBaba Msholozi had countless chances to push the narrative of land reform while he was in a position of power but he never did so. It was only after the birth of the EFF that we were thoroughly informed about land reform and its dynamics. Zuma is an exeptional leader, but he made some leadership errors that simply cannot be justified.
@gasisa7825 күн бұрын
Msholozi's even cabinet even voted against the motion of the EFF for the return of the land without compensation & he didn't put pressure on his ANC to agree with his African brothers to do the right thing.

I think that the Phala Phala issue was already dealt with in parliament and the South African Reserve Bank has released a report saying that they couldn't conclude that laws were broken after an investigation. So, the issue should be closed unless someone finds new evidence.

At some point, you critic the parties joining GNU saying they are not putting SA first? How would putting SA first look like to you? These parties have an opportunity to run something and implement part of their manifesto then go back to voters in 2 years time and say look what we have done with the little, imagine what we can do with the more.

Why do they need to come together? They can just focus on governance and serving. Why must they make weird fake pacts?

Numerous times i said the MK is not going to last and i still assume that is where is going to end and i asked the same question about Zuma regarding the stance of the land.
Penuel please learn what "racism" Is, not liking white people is not racist, it's prejudice sure but not racist, racism requires systematic power and biased law.

That's a specific definition of it, that's not the original definition, and that you can't be racist as a majority in a democratic country just because of the past is a ludicrous argument my friend. So no, you should give him a reason to adopt your specific definition instead of the older one, and then upon doing that we should observe the material realities in our country to observe that the ANC (which the majority elected for three decades) have led to this stagnation for a multitude of reasons, and in electing them the black majority by definition possesses and have possessed systematic power. If they did not they could not have enforced B.E.E, could not enforce race quotas in sports, could not have made the decisions to engage in corruption and then blame white people 30 years later for the failures of state owned enterprises that should've been well maintained and expanded upon successfully after the first two decades of ANC rule. White monopoly capital is one of many variables that have led to the situation in the country, if you think it's the only one the burden of proof is upon you.

@@thabisokhumalo5929 Oh boy the ignorance. He was in contempt of court. That does not need a trial by law. Anybody in contempt of court gets sentenced straight! You mean you dont know this?
