The first three don't really do much. Water marks are easy to remove (when companies even bother to). But, if you insist on adding a watermark (sure, can't hurt, even if it does jack all) then you can also add your name to the meta data. If you have photoshop its fairly easy and you can google tutorials online. I dont think "calling people out" really does anything unless you're a massive influencer. Remaining respectful is key, though. Some folk will try to paint you as the bad guy, easiest way to avoid that is to not look like a bad guy to begin with.

There's a nailshop near me that had YOUR NAILS on the wall... it was the multichrome picture that lots of people stole... i asked about it, the poster came in with the nail polish they buy. So it's a substantial company and the photo is is being distributed by a media company. So no one bully the salons, they don't realize and they're not stealing the pictures.

@@victormunhozzz you thought so? I found it really problematic. Gringo é qualquer pessoa de fora do Brasil, não só "brancos". Japoneses são gringos, egípcios sao gringos, até mesmo pessoas dos outros países da LatAm são gringos pra gente. E deu a impressão de que na América Latina não existe gente branca. Fora que ela falou "I don't speak Spanish". I mean... It LITERALLY has "BRASIL" written on it, and even when she checked Google it translated from Portuguese, so it wouldn't hurt to correct herself. I'm usually the last one to complain about these little things, but as a Brazilian living abroad, guess I'm just sick of people thinking we speak Spanish (or Brazilian) and Buenos Aires is our capital. Also, I find Cristine incredibly smart and she's usually so respectful. Hence my surprise.

@@amandamolesm eu acho que ela fez bem. Na maioria das vezes quando a gente fala gringo, a gente fala mais é dos americanos brancos mesmo. Qualquer estrangeiro é gringo, mas é bem mais comum a gente usar pra se referir àqueles que são brancos e norte-americanos, ou brancos europeus. Geralmente quando a pessoa não é branca a gente refere ao país de origem ancestral É isso

@@TheRainyKingdom In my Spanish class in high school, it was mentioned that “gringos”/“gringas” might be used by an American Spanish speaker on any non-Spanish speaker or someone who looks like they wouldn’t speak Spanish. This sometimes includes white Spaniards. It’s hilarious when that gets proven wrong (because a Spaniard will speak Spanish), until you realise it’s literally just the Greek “barbaros” all over again. “Barbarians” is still an antagonising word to this day and it comes from a superiority complex about the ancient Greeks.

I thought this might be one of those videos of people complaining about other people using their designs without credit, like the concept of a certain design belongs to them or something, but no, they literally stole YOUR photos and videos, you can get legal compensation for that. If they don't have the skills or money to get someone to recreate the design and take their own photos, then maybe they shouldn't be doing business. Sue the hell out of them.

Gringa also means "cracker" or "white trash" in the context of North American hate words. It matters not just who the speaker is, but also who the listener is. This is why big companies have research in their marketing departments to avoid this by either putting region blocks on ads or just changing their wording.

@@KatieCottingham So I'm from Puerto Rico and we say Gringo(a) when we refer to people in the mainland, and it is not a derogatory term. I'm aware that some people do take offense, but it is never meant with that meaning of "white trash" or "cracker." I just wanted to excuse Puerto Ricans from this one 😁.

@@KatieCottingham It's true that some other languages also have gringa as a slang or expression, but you can be sure that Brazilians use it only to demonstrate that the person is from other country. By the way here there are many ads like this, that try to overvalue a product saying that foreigners use it, it's something very common

“A nova febre entre as gringas” means the newest/hottest trend among (female) foreigners. It’s not offence, it’s just slang for people not born/from Latin America. Also, that’s Portuguese not Spanish. Hope that clears things up 😁

@@KiLaVixen I think it varies depending on where you are from. As a brazilian, I only heard it being used to offend a couple times. The word gringa by itself is not offensive, it's just offensive If you use in a way that makes clear you are being offensive

Is it ironic that at 11:44 Cristine plays Chef John's Food Wishes theme? Idk if he owns that copyright or if it's public domain but it's the theme from pretty much every single video he's made.
