Something like this happened sorta happened a few years back with a PlayStation game- in the game the villain killed off a very important character and the face model for her character started getting death threats- I don’t agree with Barbie and what she’s done with her game and the community, but I feel bad this is happening to her now- threatening her is going to far. Just because people know them doesn’t make it right for them to be threaten
