@@felixrauschenberger Lover of Mine was written by Sierra and Luke (as he mentioned in the live stream genius.com/5-seconds-of-summer-lover-of-mine-lyrics), but the writing for Best Years didn't involve Sierra- it's mostly just implied that it's written for her though as Luke is the only one in the band who wrote on it and he keeps talking about how much he loves it :) genius.com/5-seconds-of-summer-best-years-lyrics sorry i don't think i was clear in my reply :) x

I know this was a year ago, but I think it was confirmed that they realized the similarity between the two songs, and worked out a deal so Donna Lewis got songwriting credits even though she didn't write No Shame actually. Ashton talked about this a little on Insta
