When I was little, my family would fall asleep in the Florida room in the summer with the windows open because we didnt have air conditioning. We listened to NPR all day on Saturdays, and my dad would always forget to turn it off when we all turned in. In the late late hours, the station would play 40s classics just like this and it would wake me up. The house was dark and I could hear the music just like this coming from the other room the radio was in, combining with the sound of the crickets from the open windows. It's like you recorded those 1am moments from my childhood, where I was the only one experiencing this.

That's soooo cool! I grew up in Boston, but I also remember a radio ch playing really old songs in the middle of night! I was allowed a clock radio in my room, I was & still am obsessed w (various genres) music. I could never sleep as a kid, esp hot summer nights ! Idk why we didn't sleep downstairs!? 😂 @Lepreezy has the best chanel for this music! !I love the static sound from the needle/record!! Remember when radio DJs actually played real records over the air!?! ❤

Listening to this I imagine laying on a big couch w/ patchwork quilt covering me. A breeze is coming in through an open window & I can hear crickets. The gentle glow of a lamp fills the room. In the kitchen is my mom baking pies for a church gathering the next day. The radio is playing gentle tunes. The house is filled with the scent of pies baking. This is heaven to me.

Sometimes I like to close my eyes and imagine if I were young, in my bed, with classic pajamas that kids would wear back around the era of the music. The bedroom, with creaky floorboards and old paint on the walls. The hallway illuminated slightly by a fireplace, and a father and mother sitting next to each other affectionately, falling asleep in one's arm. And having a sense of comfort and feeling, a warm, feeling, like nothing can or will go wrong.

I love this channel 🥰. It reminds me of my granny when I was younger. She would always have her old radio on A.M the Big Band station. Her home was a time capsule. Time must had been so much happier back then for her. I'm 62 back in the 60's was pretty fantastic as well, but I'm listening more and more to this kind of wonderful music 🎵 stay blessed everyone!!

Remember old man next door as a kid would listen to this music sitting in a wicker chair in his driveway under tree overhanging . He would refinish antique furniture in his garage he got from yard sales that someone painted over. He’d strip paint and fix drawers .

You can have new life and peace with the creator. You can know for surety that heaven awaits you, and you can begin to live this life now with a renewed strength and having a real relationship with God. We have all sinned and we all need his mercy, and he is freely offering it to all. God loves you, so much that he was willing to pay the penalty for your sins and give you the free gift of everlasting life. We all are already condemned, but Jesus freely justifies the soul who believes and brings you into right standing with God. There is no longer any condemnation to those who are in Christ. He wants to you believe and receive this wonderful gift. I hope you do. Have a great day. 🙂

@@berthetrepat5626 All he is asking is that you truly believe in him. That you truly realize your need for the savior and trust in what he did for you. In 2021 I was lost in my sins and I was living in such darkness. I was selling meth, living for myself and doing such evil things, and at the time it was just normal for me, I didn’t even realize what I was doing was wrong, but I was just living life.. but I began to be convicted for my sins and God began to reach out to me where I couldn’t deny it anymore, and I put my trust in Jesus as my savior and he saved me and began to change my life in the most amazing way!! I understand many of you have not lived an entirely wicked life, but the face is we’re all sinners, and we all need the savior. All of us have fallen short and we need Jesus to justify us, and he went to the cross for his great love for you. Our sins will send us to hell, but God offers access to himself and to heaven through Jesus. When you are saved everything begins to change. All those chains that surrounded me left, they were released, and he helped me to change and begin to live for him, and the hope that he has given me is greater than what the world offers. I want you to have peace with the Lord in this life now, and to know where your soul will spend eternity. He is not forcing you, it’s your decision, but I’m encouraging you to come to the savior and he will save you and make all things new. Read these verses and let them speak to your heart.. John 3:16, John 14:6, Romans 6:23, and Ephesians 2:8-9 Have a blessed day!
