4 ай бұрынI was downtown for the Reno Aces Fan Fest and happened to see this movement on a Facebook group about three minutes before it passed Greater Nevada Field. Barely got to the tracks in time to catch it. Union Pacific ET44AC #2585 leads a Caltrans electric set with power cars 312 and 311 through The Trench in downtown Reno.

It's the first time I've ever actually filmed anything in The Trench itself. I've usually been on either end. I don't really get downtown all that often.

No, the only passenger option for Reno is the once-daily California Zephyr in each direction. This was purely a repair move headed to Salt Lake City.
