You might have all the natural advantage and spiritual privilege in the world, like Samson did, but that doesn't guarantee your spiritual success in life. The story of Samson is a warning to the believer that sin is a tyrant and that giving into it will destroy your life. In this study, we discover that God often has so much more for us than what we allow Him to accomplish in and through us.

I am going to listen to this sermon again soon. The Commandments for "Children to honor their father and mother that it may to well with them, and they would live long on the earth," Samson didn't obey it, so it didn't go well with him and he didn't live long on the earth.

Thanks Pastor Skip - these accounts show that God can use us - despite our sinful human nature - to accomplish His purposes. I’m thinking God must have endowed Samson with some super human muscle tissue to accomplish these feats of strength! And one wonders if that donkey jawbone is still sitting in the ground somewhere around Ramath-lehi! God bless.

I agree with you I am going to try staying home for a period of time, maybe to get a new perspective, I bought Christmas lights more than 4 weeks ago and there still not up. I need someone to to talk to
